I have carried a flashlight in the pocket of my cargo pants for years, with age eye sight needs all the help possible.I lost my slide flashlight that I had for years and needed a replacement. I have tried a couple lights and now settled on this light. It’s small that can fit in a pocket, be clipped to pants of shirt pocket. I tend to clip it on a neck lanyard and drop in my front shirt pocket.The on off switch requires a long press preventing accident turning on. The light is very bright with three levels of brightness and a red light mode. The light has a strong magnetic on the end cap and the light can be rotated 90 degrees making great for clipping on shirt and point light in front when walking. The battery is removed from light for charging, I didn’t think I would like this but it isn’t a big issue. Great little light overall. Thanks

A great multifunction, easy to carry flashlight. The magnetic base is strong enough to hang upside down from your car hood or on the side of a metal cabinet. With the head adjustable from 0-90 degrees, you can aim it where you want. The base is wide enough to allow the flashlight to stand on its base, on non metallic items. With the option of white or red light and selectable brightnesses makes it useful for many situations. Great for work light, camping light, night photography light and meats the requirements for a dark sky park. You do need to unscrew the easy to remove base, to remove the battery to charge it. It charges with the included USB cable by plugging the cable directly into the battery. This makes it rechargeable anywhere you have a USB charger. You can order a spare 14500 rechargeable battery and charge one battery while using the flashlight with the other.

Looking closely to the twist off there is a rubber ring seal that prevents it from closing all the way contacting the battery. I took that off and the light works now. It is very bright but I will test it out and see if other issues holds up.1 month Update: Light holds up and is very bright. Does get super hot after a few minutes of use.

this flashlight is a hefty, well knurled flashlight that has a head that swivels to 90 deg. and also has a red LED for night vision, and perhaps for emergency signaling. the bottom of the barrels has a pretty powerful magnet for attaching to a metal surface. my take on the rechargeable battery? not great. the charging cable attaches directly to a 14500 Li-Ion (AA size) battery with a small LED that shows red when charging is still needed, and turns green when charging is complete. it appears to me that the battery, unlike most Li-Ion batteries, seems to lose charge while just sitting. when i wrote to the seller, once they understood the nature of my complaint, very quickly rectified the problem. 5 stars for the service by the sellers. and 5 stars for the flashlight itself.

Terribly disappointed. Its a tiny flashlight which would never work on a camping trip or when the power goes out.

I didn't realize how small this flashlight is but I love it. The one, and only, thing that I don't like is the AA battery (provided) is charged directly. It must be removed to be charged. Other than that, this is great. I use this flashlight for work and it is wonderful. Small and compact, but puts out a lot of light.

This little flashlight does work as stated, but it also would get hotter than you would like while emitting a humming noise that could be heard a few feet away. I returned the item.
