It even has a drain plug!

This was a satisfactory replacement for my Mazda CX-9 2008 vin JM3TB38A280121329 - and I was especially pleased that it had a drain plug, because that (replacing the fluid every 30k miles or so) is what's going to keep this thing alive, since it's right next to the catalytic converter and gets its fluid cooked so quickly.

Did not fit

Not sure why this wasn’t the right part but it wasn’t. Drive line didn’t line up correctly and it immediately broke the transfer case apart first test drive out of the driveway.
