Sir Hans Sloane Ecuador 70 Percent Drinking Chocolate 270 g

I am disappointed in this product, both in terms of taste and texture. This hot chocolate does not taste like pure chocolate but like chocolate with some sort of accompanying flavour, even though it is supposed to be chocolate-flavoured only, not flavoured chocolate. Also, the chocolate beads do not melt or blend entirely, but little gritty bits remain, and I don't like this. It does not matter whether I add the bits to hot milk and stir or add the bits to the milk and then heat them together; the result is the same. For the price of this product, I expected to be very pleased with it, but I am not.

My favourite drinking chocolate company.This is the second drinking chocolate I've bought from this company and it's as delicious as the first one (rich dark). I've also got a third (Madagascar) to try and have no worry that it'll be as divine as this one and the first one.My only niggle is that I can't seem to decide which one I like best! Oh well I'll guess I'll have to raid the chocolate bank to work my way through Hans Sloane drinking chocolate, or find a wealthy sponsor!!!

Not as good as hoped,not good value

Oh. WOW. Never tried this kind of product before for cocoa or chocolate in hot beverages, and we were blown away by this product. It's wonderfully rich, and it's easy to adjust the flavor using more or less of the bits. If you're a chocolate lover, I highly recommend that you try this product!

A-M-A-Z-I-N-G! Strictly Bitter hot chocolate with just a touch of sweetness! Mind you I prefer the Madagascan 67% because it is just 3% sweeter, however, this is really rich cocoa as it should be. Well worth the price!

The best hot chocolate I've found to date, and believe me I've tried them all.
