I think it works great. We have a little Dashem and she loves it. She fits right in there. She feels secure it easily straps to your consul. We are very happy with it. If you got a little dog, this is perfect. We used to have a dog and a little basket, but The basket would either slide forward or slide back. This is really nice it stays right in place and it’s very cushioned and comfortable inside A+.

My wife buys things for our dogs all the time, most of them go unused... not this one! Our chihuahua loves being carried and riding in this thing. I travel with a yorkie, and I've bought her several car seats over the years. The first couple versions had soft sides make of foam, and she wore those out in no time. This one is a rigid bucket-like structure, lined with soft furry fabric. She absolutely loves to sit in it, and I think she feels safe and comfortable. It's super easy to install on the lid of a console cabinet, and it holds firm, even with sudden stops. It has a little leash in it you can attach to their collar, but I don't, because I wouldn't want her tethered in an awkward manner in the event of an accident or sudden stop. The best part is that the bottom cushion is removable and washable, so I can keep it clean. That was not the case with the earlier versions I bought.

My dog loves it because he can see where we are going. It fits my console good and stays in place. It is study made. I like that it connects to both seats. That helps it stay in place also. I am a little restricted with my movement but it doesn't interfere with my driving. Overall I am happy with it.

I will preface that I've only had this two days and she's only ridden in it twice, but my 5 lb Yorkie does not hate it! She is still nervous and getting used to the car seat, but the fact that she has not tried to jump out at all and is whining very little is amazing. You can tell she loves being up high enough to see out the windows and is still close to me. I love the firm frame and the versatility with the straps. I found it fits better in my Honda CRV to put the straps around the middle console lid long ways instead of around the lid and the door closes great. With the seat straps attached the car seat is holding solid in place. I will say that I installed it backwards so that the security strap is at the back instead of the front. This way she can't jump out and try to get on my lap. Also, if I have to stop suddenly she won't be able to fly forward. It's working amazingly. Maybe a thought for the next model. If I had to say anything negative it might be that when the side straps are attached to either seats head rest you can't lay the seat back, but ee'll get used to it. So throw in a couple blankets and a harness on the dog and you are good to go! Worth every penny!

This car seat is sturdy yet plush and comfy for my 10# Maltese. She fits perfect inside. She is able to lay down and turn around with ease while inside the seat. I love the sturdy sides.

Very easy to attach to console and both front seats in my Honda Pilot. Handy clip attaches to puppy's collar, so she can't jump out. Very stable in all directions, no movement at all. Nice padding around top frame, plush & comfy inside. Also attaches easily in back seat using headrests, adjustable to different heights from low on the seat to raised for looking out the window. Love this product!!

My 5 lb dog… fit. But the base would not fit in my 2018 Rav 4. Space between front seats is not wide enough for hard base. Otherwise would have been fine. Built well!
