Description
- Flowers of sulphur is used as a dust treatment for flower bulbs to prevent rot and provide essential nutrients. When added to soil or growing media, it can rapidly correct PH levels to balance alkaline soils.
- Sulphur in plants helps form important enzymes and assists in the formation of plant proteins, particularly chlorophyll, as well as acting as a soil conditioner. It can help reduce the sodium content of soils. Sulphur in plants is a component of some vitamins and is important in helping give flavour to mustard, onions and garlic.
- An effective treatment when applied to dogs in a powdered puffer. Make sure all skin folds are treated and anywhere where there are red patches. It will help to keep away fleas and the rashes/allergies they bring.
- For horses, a small amount used daily will help with itchy conditions when applied as an ointment. It can also help with mud fever and mite infestations, and be used as an antiseptic & anti-fungal treatment.
- Flowers of sulphur can also be used in natural mineral makeup.
