Bit of a nightmare to get the driveshaft fitted.... instructions could be better.
I initially submitted a very scathing review of this product but on reflection and two weeks use, I have decided to revise my view. This is in part due to a bit of an over reaction on my part when things didn’t go to plan and also because having complained bitterly to the supplier, I had a very good customer service experience.First of all the packaging was very good indeed and protected each component very well. This included the desktop which came in for parts and needed to be fitted together, this was not in my opinion ideal, however having been using the desk for a couple of weeks now, I hardly notice the fact that it is not one single piece of wood.I did find construction of the legs and underframe a little trickier than I had hoped. Close attention must be paid to the instructions in order to get this right first time. The main issue for me was fitting the driveshaft from the motorised end to the nonmotorised end, the motorised end has a captive hexagonal spindle which must be attached to a hollow rod and a noncaptive spindle for insertion on the other end. The issue I had here was that on each end of the hollow rod is a keyed plastic insert into which the two spindle bolts must fit in order for the motorised end and spindle bolt to turn the nonmotorised end and therefore raise both ends of the desk simultaneously. The issue I had was at the nonmotorised end wherein if I managed to get the hexagonal spindle bolt into the keyed plastic part and then into the connecting rod getting the hexagonal bolt into the receiving point is very difficult. The spindle bolt being hexagonal has to fit exactly into the receiving point. If this is not turned to allow it to fit properly , construction is very difficult. It’s difficult to turn the receiving part in order to allow the bolt to fit in both ends ( the keyed plastic part and rod and the hex nut receiver) and indeed I have suggested to the supplier that a key needs to be provided to allow that to happen. Once I had overcome this issue by plugging the unit in partly inserting the hexagonal bolt into the receiving point, and actually raising the desk slightly to allow the receiving nut to turn correctly so that the spindle bolt could be properly fitted. This unfortunately has the effect of raising the legs to slightly different heights and thereby give me a very tilted desk. I was able to remedy this with some effort. The tools and bolts etc are good quality. The parts seem good quality. The instructions however are not very clear. There is reference to a “Card Slot” . This actually refers to the keyed plastic insert one of each goes into either end of the connecting rod. It is advisable to have on hand a strong pair of grips or other means of turning the receiving nut at the non motorised end so that both the keyed plastic insert that receives one end of the spindle bolt and the receiving nut on the desk leg can be aligned and properly connected.Having used the desk now for a couple of weeks I am pleased with the purchase.

exactly what i want
Been using this desk for a week now, very happy with the purchase - easy to assemble (for 2 adults) and very easy to use. The wheel can be locked or unlocked so you can move the desk very easily. The adjust pad has 4 options (not like other adjustable desk that you can only adjust ‘up’ or ‘down’) so only one simple click it will adjust to your favourite height. You can also charge the adjust pad using USB charger (see last pic) so you don’t need to charge the desk all the time while still be adjustable, I found this is very helpful as I can move the desk to anywhere in my flat and adjust the height. The only small thing needs to bear in mind is that the desk top is not one board, but 4 small board put together. Overall I am very happy with the purchase and recommend this product.

Better than expected, perfect for home office working
I rarely write reviews; unless something is 1 or 5 stars, in my opinion, its probably not worth writing about. But I wish I'd bought this a couple of years ago. Transforms the way you work. I have an ulta-wide monitor on it and there is loads of space. I opted for the 70cm deep desk which is perfect.Instructions are good - I assembled it in around 45mins, including amending a couple of errors I madeThe desk top itself is made of 4 sections which makes the shipping box that much smaller than I expected. It all comes together really well once assembled and very sturdy. The adjustable height mechanism appears to be very robust: You can program it to your preferred heights. I sit for about 30% of the time now. Always do teams calls standing up now and a lot of general computer work. Also worth googling exercises to do when at a standing desk.Overall, very impressed and would highly recommend. Delivery was also much quicker than advertised

4 sectional desktop!
This review is related to the 140 x 70 version:Ugh, I could kick myself over this but I was surprised when this desk arrived in two small boxes; however, I soon realised that the top was split into 4 sections that would need to be secured together.I can understand from a designers point why they have done this and why the desk legs are extendable in width, but the images do not show the sectioning clearly on the standard Amazon app image size and I was looking for other measurements so didn't see it in the description; hindsight is important here but I felt it was it was very disappointing and misleading in that respect. Also, the sectional pieces don't even match up with the grains (see picture) and yes I did try swapping them around, but this was unfortunately the best way they fit. With that all out the way, it was actually really simple to build. The instructions were great but there wasn't a section in them on putting the surface pieces together and fastening the control unit in place. Thankfully, I've made a few things before and that exclusion didn't bother me, but not everyone will be so confident. You get everything you need in the box to assemble the desk (Bonus point for including feet and also wheels in the inventory guys. Great addition!) but you will also need herculean strength, or maybe two people, for the job as the end product is heavy and awkward to upturn.Once completed, this is a beautiful desk and it's so sturdy! The motor is relatively quiet and moves at a nice, steady pace too.It would have been a clear 5 stars from me if it wasn't for the sectional top, or if I was at least clearly shown that it was that in the pictures. It's unbelievably easy to overlook the single mention in the description and the tiny details in the images when you're excited about finding a desk deep enough for what you want!If you want an unbelievably cheap entry into rising desks, then I would tell you to purchase one as soon as possible; most people will have a desk mat that covers the majority of the sectional seams and it would look amazing; If, however, you are looking for aesthetically pleasing perfection, then the surface will bug the heck out of you and I would recommend searching for something with a solid one piece top,but only for that reason
