I wired it into my 30amp RV power supply on my house. I set it up to control the A/C to dehumidify multiple times a day. I am surprised that it is as good as it is for the price. It saves a lot of money on my electric bill. Unfortunately my gateway is too weak to connect it to the wifi with it being in the electrical box but the blue tooth works when I am close to it. Once the time clock is set with blue tooth, it will keep memory. I may put one in the RV breaker panel to control the A/C with blue tooth while driving.

Four months update: after using these switches for four months, the second of the two switches failed, making it two for two. The one replacement switch is still online, but it it hooked up to an air conditioner, which I am not currently using.Great idea, poor execution.---I recently purchased a couple of these high-power smart switches from this budget Chinese brand, primarily to control my air compressor (120V, 15A) and an old air conditioner (240V, 15A). This works great and it's very easy to add the timer to this via the Smart Life app. I love it it will save me money in electric as I'm using it for my hot water heater which runs on electricity. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that needs a 30 amp Smart Switch. The installation was also simple for me or someone who has a little electrical background knowledge.

I installed it on a 2HP pool pump. Wi-Fi connectivity is relatively weak; it often lost connection until a Wi-Fi repeater was installed on a wall just behind it. Other than that, it was working just fine for a year.

I purchased this WiFi switch to control my 1hp pool pump motor.I actually have two pool pumps, one is small and runs off my solar system and is used to circulate during the day. It on a WiFi switch that schedules the pump. The WiFi switch is too small for my larger pump so I purchased this 30 amp switch which works really well. And the larger pump is only used when I vacuum the pool because I need better suction. The larger pump runs off of the grid because my inverter can’t handle the surge current of my big pump.Well enough rambling.This switch works well!

I hooked it up, connected to Wi-Fi, got it to function okay. The app works, I can control it with Google home. However, I had it connected to my hot water heater and within a week it stopped working and the housing was partially melted. My hot water heater pulls about 20 amps when it's running, and it will run for an hour at a time on average. If you have a smaller load or run for a very short period of time this might be okay. But it definitely can't handle 30 amps and not for any length of time.

The media could not be loaded. Connected this to new LED shop lights, less than 5 amps total. Was great to have the lights on a schedule or to be able to remotely shut things down if i didn't want to go back outside. I looked out the window last night and the lights were flashing off and on... The device will not reset even if you shut the power off the relay just keeps cycling, you can hear it in the video. I have not had any issues with WiFi as others have but I put the switch in a plastic box not a metal one to allow signal to get in an out. I still have one installed and it seems to be working fine so we will see what happens in time, did I just get a bad one? UPDATE -- I purchased two of these at the same time, the first one failed in the review with the video and the second one failed about a week later. It was showing as offline, I went to reset it and it will not reset so I could re-add it. What I did notice was that on a few occasions when I pushed the reset button I could hear the relay "Click" and the lights would flash which tells me something is not right on the inside of the case. Of course this is about 30 days outside of the Amazon return so lesson officially learned this product will not last.

This is five stars item if you don’t overload, it will last long time I used a couple of them. I’m so happy with it. I recommend.
