Alnico 5 Magnet Humbucker Sized P90 Electric Guitar Pickups Neck & Bridge Pickups (Chrome)

These pickups came very nicely packaged. Shiney, clean chrome. They sound great, just like P-90s should. 60 cycle hum? Yes. But, the hum cuts down considerably when both pickups are on.

I wanted to try P90 pickups to hear the difference between my Les Paul humbuckers and also the single coil pickups in my Strat. I have a late 70s Vantage Les Paul copy that I decided to try the P90s in and I am very impressed with the tone of these pickups. Do not let the low price fool you they are well made and sound great!! I was planning on getting a "better quality" set if I liked the P90 sound but I have decided that I will stick with these.

These pickups look and sound great. And the price point is pretty good. I would put these up against higher dollar “boutique” pickups any day. The quality of the chrome looks great. Compared them to my Les Paul Special with actual P90s, these humbucker sized p90s sound almost identical. If I had to give a con, I would say I wish the lead on neck pick was a little longer. It’s still manageable, but just barely. I’m going to buy another set for my other humbucker guitar.

Descent sound good output easy to wire have bought a few of these and will buy another pair they seem to run out so if you see them and want to try a set be quick

I replaced the stock pickups on my Gretsch 2410 with these. It's definitely the tone that I've been chasing. That being said, there were a couple of disappointments. The wiring wasn't long enough to reach the pots so I had to solder the wires. Also, as you can see in my photo the pole spacing isn't perfect on the neck pickup. I gave them 4 stars because these issues didn't noticably effect the tone, in my opinion. And the G2410 is a different beast and therefore results may vary depending on the guitar you're putting them on.
