So glad I bought this for my trip. It worked like a charm and kept my suitcases secure. I love the fact the bars are higher up so I didn’t worry about my suitcases flying out.

The instruction isn’t clear at all . It took us a while to figure out to put it all together. It works at it should be and I have no complaints for it. Except the instructions.

This hitch carrier was built with a piece of split pipe or the pipe split when dabbing the modest tack welds to affix it. As can be seen, the malformed tubing has a ridge by the split (probably at the seam), and regardless the cause was painted over and packaged this way. That said, it’s easy to assemble and probably up to the weight rating. It doesn’t rattle when the included stabilizer is used, but I recommend using nylon ties to secure the folded panels rather than the metal clevis. And yes, I am working on resolution, but that is aside my impression of the carrier.Edit: Everything I wrote still holds, but after a furtive and slow start, Vevor stepped up to the plate and owned the mistake. Granted, they should honor claims like others, but I think their offer was above and beyond what one might suspect. I will note all I asked for was another small door, not some shakedown. Amazon also deserves mention for their help.

Put together to the factory spec. Detroit to Phoenix drive, factory installed pin fell out and hinge broke. Still need to get another 1000 miles with this thing zip tied together. Very very disappointing.

The product is as advertised and very heavy duty. I am 76 year old lady and had no problem assembling it by myself. I am very pleased with the carrier.

Used it on my Tahoe it was nice we were able to fit a lot will recommend
