False advertising
Don’t buy this, it’s not what you think it is. Good for meter boxes, bad for manholes etc.

Light duty
Good for poly cement hand hole covers with 1/2” slots but they are light duty, first time used showed signs of deformation.

Not as expected
These were advertised as manhole cover hooks, however these are far from a manhole cover puller. They seem to be fine for moderate to light weight vaults lid’s for the telecom/utility industry.

Good for occasional use
You get what you pay for. It good for me to check on a drainage pit. Need both to grab the cover as of feels like if I use one it would break. Rod has a lot of flex
