Fatal flaw in bearing housing design
This is truly silent. It was such a relief to have something so quiet...for 2 weeks then forget it. Suddenly it started to tick and then knock and then it got really loud. I gave it to a small engine mechanic to try fix so I could limp through until I got a new one from the company. He stated that there is a design flaw in the housing and the bearing will always fail. He replaced the bearing and it was nice and quiet for 3 days then that bearing fail to.I tried to contact the company back telling them I changed my mind and wanted a refund but haven't heard back.

A great little compressor
I've had this compressor for 1 year. I use it to airbrush under-glazes and Terra-sigilata's on my ceramics. It does a great job and I've had no problems. It performed well when I had a sudden large run of objects to do, 3 days at 10-18 hours a day.It makes a humming noise but that doesn't bother me as my extractor fan is so noisy I can barely hear anything! I use it with a Paasche airbrush. I had to buy a tiny connector from the plumber supplies distributor.
