Works fine!
As always I fail to read the reviews BEFORE purchasing an item. This time it's a good thing! After ordering this insect trap I was reading the bad reviews and wishing I had read them first. They spoke of not catching insects as well as another brand AND while peeling the protective cover from the refill strips the protective cover would rip.I've had mine for over a month now and it was filled with insects! Plus, the protective cover on the refill strip did NOT rip!

Works Well
Loved this little bug catcher. It's been rainy and hot and the mosquitoes are out in force and have been feeding on me at night. I plugged this in on the first night and there were at least a dozen little bloodsuckers stuck to it the next morning. Seems to work very well.

BEST TRAP/LIGHT I'VE TRIED SO FAR!
This trap caught 45 bugs in the first two days. It was so full by day three, I had to change the filter! Haha. And I have pretty much eliminated my bug problem already. However..... it only caught one HOUSE FLY, the rest were smaller bugs (which is mostly what I was aiming for so, no harm done in my case, but if your mission is house flies...... I don't know. I don't really have enough house flies IN my house to render an opinion on that.) It is 100% noiseless as far as I can tell and the light does not bother me. I also like that it is rounded, unlike the last one I bought, so that I don't have to look at a bunch of dead bugs when looking at the outlet it's plugged into from the side. We plan on buying a few more of these to spread them around the house. Very easy instructions, easy to use, and made with good quality materials. It's great. I recommend.

Not as effective as Zevo
Any bug that comes near it seems to stick to it, but it doesn't attract bugs like its mainstream counterparts (Zevo). The light is more purple-y and not as bright, so I'm not sure if that has anything to do with it. Overall, I would recommend that you spend the money on the product that works more effectively instead of this one.

These refills fit the bug trapper well. Easy to install, they slide right into the holder. They catch all kinds of bugs: spiders, flies, gnats, and those annoying pantry moths. Recommended.

This will do the trick!
My husband loves these! We ordered several and they are very effective - the nightlight is nice too. the little flying bugs that can drive you crazy gravitate towards the light.... Easy to use and change out the sticky sheets.

Even catches clothing moths!
I'm bug-phobic and clean drains (and even block) to prevent fruit flies from multiplying in the summer and chase down every housefly that manages to enter. On top of that, something we brought into the house carried clothes moth eggs and I've been fighting them for three years, reducing them each year. (Highly recommend the Faicuk Clothes Moth Traps Amazon sells.) I tried this trap with little hope because clothing moths supposedly aren't attracted to light like regular moths. Was happily surprised that this does indeed attract and terminate those evil bugs. I'm back to buy a third one because I WILL triumph over those moths. And house flies too!

Not an instant solution like sprays but far safer for pets and they do work given a couple days.
We found one of my kids had left a food bag with some scraps that had basically rotted and now we had a huge infestation of those little gnats, fruit flies, or similar little bugs around. we have 2 cats and dog and I'm hesitant to use sprays, even those that say they're "pet friendly". I decided to give the a shot and although the results haven't been instantaneous, after a couple of days, there has been a marked decline in the number of flying bugs.I went with this particular product because it was a 2 pack with a bunch of refill sticky pads. I set one up in two different rooms where the infestation was the worst. They could not be any easier to use. you peel the plastic covering off the sticky pads and insert them in devices and plug them in. They have blue light that attracts the bugs which then get caught on the sticky pads. They do seem to work best when it gets dark and there is no sunlight through the windows and lights in the room are off to compete with the devices light for the bugs attention.I would definitely purchase these again.
