Got this for my ROG Ally. no issues so far, I did have to get a 2280 adapter to use it. Overall very happy

Good drive for the price. However I am getting 3700MB/s read and 3500MB/s write on my tests. Not the 7000 advertised. These tests were on the first time it was booted up. Good drive, cheap but not as fast as advertised.Edit: this is because i am using a 3x4 lane.

I bought two of these drives to store and backup my photos and documents. At first I was very pleased and impressed with the speed etc but in less than a year, one drive suddenly failed and became unusable and caused my laptop to crash bringing up the dreaded “blue screen”. I managed to fix that but the drive remained inaccessible. Luckily I had the back up. I wrote to support on two occasions via their own web site thinking they may be able to recover the data and fix the drive but they have not responded. Nothing! Now I can’t trust the other one so I purchased two more drives from another company which seem perfectly acceptable. An expensive item which holds your precious data has to be reliable and you have to have confidence in it.
