Before I ordered this helmet I ordered a $35 Chinese knock off. Where to begin... the strap was positioned wrong, the buckle was cheap plastic that popped open under the slightest tension, and the shell was so flimsy I could collapse it with one hand.Then I ordered this helmet from Daytona and the difference is night and day. The strap is perfect and sturdy, the buckle is a higher quality plastic ratchet that feels both secure and easy to manipulate with one hand, and the shell is definitely sturdier.Now let's be completely clear, this helmet is definitely not DOT compliant and will do very little if anything to protect your head in the event of a crash. If you're surprised by this, then you really should do some more research about motorcycle safety gear, and probably reconsider whether or not you should be riding in the first place.That being said if you're looking for something to keep the cops happy in a helmet law state, and something with a low profile and lots of biker attitude, this is absolutely worth the extra 20 some bucks over the cheap Chinese crap.Also a note on fitment, I listened to the reviews and went one size up from my normal helmet size and it fits perfect. I wear a small in both Bell and Scorpion helmets and a medium fits perfect. Snug enough that it's not going anywhere but not so snug as to give me a headache when I snap it on.All said and done I love this new helmet and highly recommend it for its intended purpose. Slap a DOT sticker on the back and enjoy the ride!

Great helmet! I used the sizing chart which indicated I wore a Medium. That seemed off to me since I was recently fitted with a Small, but I went with the measurements provided and this is by far the most comfortable helmet EVER! No mushroom head, no headaches, no lifting and no buckle indentations left on my neck and face from trying to get the helmet to fit correctly! Helmet arrived neatly packed in a box with a mesh do-rag and dust bag. Now if they only had this in Pink!

I am thoroughly satisfied with this product. The do-rag and keychain were a nice added touch. Fits well and even came in a nice cloth bag. Will buy again.

Size runs more than a bit small. What ever size you normally wear, order the next size up. Otherwise, looks great. If you get one of these to wear on a ride, be sure you're in a No-Helmet-Law state. These are not DOT approved.

for the $$ this is a nice little helmet. It is not DOT but it's still good quality. in other reviews I see people complain how the straps are over the ears, they are not bad, but a single strap would be better but not uncomfortable at all

I like everything about this Eagle helmet except the shape of the back. It protrudes too far back for my taste and has a shallow semi circle cutout at the rear bottom that looks like it was designed to accomodate a ponytail. It is lightweight and has really nice padding and is comfortable. You will have only a slight mushroom head. It is not DOT approved but does provide minimal protection. I wear it anyway and I'm thinking of trimming the back since the welt holding the lining is tight, flexible, high quality and can be reapplied.
