Dual purpose…exactly what I was looking for
Good quality and value for the money. Battery is the same type that people use with cartridges, and the silver color looks nice

Cordless is the Way to Go
I've been soldering for 50 years and this is the first cordless iron I've ever had. Why did I wait do long? Touch the button and it gets hot, do the job, let it cool down and stick it back in your tool bag. I do like that it's thin and includes a tip cover along with a small rube of solder and charging cable. For the amount I solder these days this is perfect.

Great for 4:20 sessions
I’ve gone through three 510 pen 🛒 batteries in the last 3 months. Love that this one charges from the bottom no dumb top screw on that got “stuck” bc of the cart wax. The other one loses its charge so fast I have to charge it 2x a day. I was a little worried this was going to blow my lungs looking at how big it is lol but it’s fine. I’m a bit worried that others have said it gets kind of hot bc I tend to stash my device in my bra, guess I’ll find out the hard way as usual 🔥

Don’t buy this
Absolute garbage. Malfunctioned three separate times, ruining two different oils. Would randomly switch to soldering mode, causing it to burn me. Also fell apart at one point. Literally had to throw it out less than a month after purchase. If you’re looking to use this for the non-soldering purposes, don’t bother. Find a different option, it’ll be well worth the extra money and effort.

Great for "Soldering" over 420 degrees
My wife owns a "soldering" iron and we both use it. However, she has a problem returning the "soldering" iron to a place where I can find it after she uses it. Finally, I got fed up looking for the iron whenever I want to do some "soldering" and bought one of these. It came with a lot of soldering tips and soldering supplies, I wont be using. I'm happy to report that it arrived fully functional and works better than my wife's "soldering" iron. It seems to heat up the "solder" to a higher temperature and it creates more "solder" vapor. I can't speak to the longevity of this "soldering" iron but, the design looks very similar to my wife's and we've been "soldering" with that one for years. I'm positive this reaches over 420 degrees easily.UPDATE 10/10 stars. The battery life on this thing is absolutely insane compared to my old "soldering iron". I usually solder once a day in the evenings and with my "soldering" habits it literally lasts for weeks without being charged. Not only does the battery last, it keeps on "soldering" even though its been through some accidents. I ended up buying one of these because my wife's "soldering iron" eventually died. She also loves it btw. We were on a roadtrip and somehow she forgot she had brought her "soldering iron" in her bag. She also forgot to tap the button to turn it off, to be fair I never turn mine completely off either. Somehow the button was depressed for hours. I noticed a "solder" smell in the car and the faint smell of something burning. The "soldering" cartridge was so hot that it ruptured and melted "solder" all over the place. I thought for sure the iron was through but no. With a fresh charge and removal of the old "soldering" cartridge we were back in business. This is truly and amazing value and highly recommended!
