I got the ELEGOO Rapid PLA Plus Filament 1.75mm Black 1KG for my Bambu Labs P1P, and I’m super impressed. The matte black finish is perfect—not shiny, giving my prints a sleek, professional look. I printed a detailed figurine, and the smooth texture hid layer lines beautifully.It feeds smoothly at 200°C, with great bed adhesion on a textured PEI plate. No clogs or stringing after minor tweaks. The filament arrived vacuum-sealed, dry, and ready to use. Only downside: it may warp in direct sunlight, so I’d use PETG for outdoor prints. Highly recommend for quality and value!

It is a reliable filament for a reliable price. It was an evolution in settling down on a brand, but no regrets here. I have had some better and some worse, but this is something that I can always count on. I now how it will behave from season to season. I know if the house humidity is over 35 percent, I am going to dry it to print it. I am ok with that idea. It stores well enough. roll to roll, the color stays pretty close. I have good bed adhesion, then it comes off the bed when you want it too. Unless I need some real exotic color, Elegoo is how I roll. I bet out of 50 rolls, I have only had one where I thought it had a tangle in the factory winding of the spool. I still trust the spool to go off and let it print without problems. The silks can be a bit brittle coming off the spool, but take your time and avoid sharp bends when loading, and then I think you will be fine. Unless I am used to it, the PLA does not smell at all when printing. I have sat in the same room as the printer for a year and half now and not growing any weird body parts. I am happy with the price over quality.

I bought this filament because it was on sale. I have read some of the other reviews on this where winding tangles were experienced, but I have not had any issue with this after using several spools. I've achieved good prints on my Creality CR-10 V3 using this filament, and I would purchase it again. I think it is a good quality filament, especially for the price. It was well packaged (vacuum sealed w/desiccant), and dry on arrival and ready to use. I had good adhesion on a glass carborundum bed between 210-220C (better first layer at 210C) and 60C bed temp. Filament is one of those things that can vary from batch to batch, even from the same manufacturer, so your milage may vary.

Orange, Yellow, and Teal filaments print well. Light blue filament appears to have quality control issues, causing inconsistent layers and other print artifacts. All spools were dried thoroughly before printing. I spent half the blue spool troubleshooting my prints, and then finally realized the filament was just bad, and threw the rest of the spool away. Shame. I generally like this filament, as it seems to be just about as good as the expensive stuff when it's good. But the inconsistency between spools means I will be trying some other, cheaper brands now.

Great variety of color. The "sea green" in my opinion is more of a teal green when printed. Quality seems really good.

Wow. This filament is not only strong, but the color is spot on and the speed of printing is just as good as PLA. However, unlike Overture's Turbo PLA, which is brittle and honestly a bit sloppy, this is far better. Overture's Turbo PLA also stuck to the PEI plate pretty badly, whereas this just peels and slides off when you're ready to pull it. Otherwise, it prints very cleanly. So far, I'm a fan of the Elegoo PLA, PLA+ and mostly a fan of their PETG. I have their ABS, but I'm not quite prepared to print such a toxic filament quite yet. I also have to try Sunlu's TPU filament, but I'm waiting for the same reason.
