Easy install
Spring clip works great, fits multi size opening, holds snug to wall. Flexible enough to adjust to irregular hole in wall and still hang straight!

Easy to install!
We had an area of sheetrock on the ceiling that needed to be cut out to investigate a leak. I thought I'd have to get a drywall guy out to patch it, then texture and paint. What a hassle! But someone suggested these spring access panels. The great thing about this one is that it will cover 10x10 up to 14x14. My area was 10x14 and I really didn't want to mess with cutting the opening larger to 14x14. Voila! This could not have been easier. There's a sliding piece you slide in, then put the panel in place. A raised piece on the inside of the panel fits against one side of the opening. The sliding piece sprang back to catch on the other side. Hard to explain but very intuitive to figure out just by looking at it. If you're dealing with different dimensions on your opening like I was, position the sliding part on the wider side so you don't have to slide it in as far. In conclusion, even though the finished side of the panel is 16x16 and was a bit larger than I needed, so what? It's on a bathroom ceiling and this was the easiest solution. I don't think it's unsightly and it probably won't be noticed. In the event we need access to that area again, we'll just pop it out. I am very pleased with this solution.

I like the 2-piece idea!
I was replacing a 20 year old spring-loaded access panel and I was dead-set on getting another spring-loaded one. When I got this, I was upset, since it is not spring-loaded. However, the side piece stays on the drywall, while the moving (flapping) piece can flap down or can be removed during a long repair. So, I love this 2-piece idea. One warning: you have to glue the "fixed" side part. I simply used a glue gun and glue. Works fine.

Perfect for the job
It does well covering an 8x8 access hole in my skirting which has some cables crossing in front of the hole which makes it to where I cannot use a acess door with a hinge.

Did the job; cost half as much as the big-box stores charge
Not much to say here. This is exactly like any spring-loaded panel you'll find at the big orange or big blue hardware stores, but half price, maybe one-third of the price. And more variety.I had to paint mine to match; it holds latex paint extremely well. Good spring. Holds tension well. One tip -- It helps if you add a little grease (not oil, grease) on the spring mechanism to prevent it from catching.Highly recommend!

Works great when delivered unbroken
I’ve bought these in the past.. and they work great to cover up a whole in the wall or celling (have one in the celling had to fix a leaky pipe.. decided to purchase some more but they were delivered broken.. returned them and reordered but second set was also broken..
