Works great for Pontiac G8
This worked great for my 2009.5 Pontiac G8 GXP oil pan drain plug. The head size is different than OEM, but the threads were the same. No leaks!

Not an OEM part
The Drain plug fit the threads but, the bolt head is a different size from the OEM one. And it had a 12 (mm) stamped on it but, was actually a 13mm. This is the first time I had changed my own oil in years, and I found that the old plug seal was almost completely gone. So, by getting the extra seals I'll be able to change them with the oil now.

Perfect fit for 2023 Ford Explorer 3.0L V6 and great to have extras on hand in case of breakage
These oil pan plugs are for our 2023 Ford Explorer 3.0L V6 Ecoboost. I was truly apprehensive because the plugs are plastic instead of traditional metal, but that's what Ford selected. I was very intimidated to remove the plug since the plastic ears look very delicate and easy to break. The fact that this purchase came with 3 is really great in case one broke on either removal or install. I used a very long nosed pliers to gently squeeze the plastic ears and turn the plug slightly to loosen it from the oil pan. Then it was an easy turn by hand to remove it the rest of the way and the plug came out intact ready for easy re-installation. After draining the oil, the plug reinstalled incredibly easy by hand with no tool-assistance needed I cannot express enough how valuable this purchase is to have extras on hand in case one broke when removing it from the oil pan. As a long-time DIYer, I'm used to metal oil pan plugs, but this new plastic approach seems to work well and does not require any torque knowledge to secure for a perfect fit. Ok Ford, I'm a believer in your plastic oil pan plug, but I'm still very happy I have extras....just in case!

Don't bother - 2 leaked so I went to OEM
I tried using these plugs on my 2016 Volkswagen GTI. Leaking started immediately after start-up. I tried again about a week later and the same thing happened. I went to the dealer to buy one and no more leaking. Seriously, just spend the extra money for OEM and save yourself a massive headache.

Honda Civic Hatchback EX
It fit. That's good. It actually came with the copper washers in the baggie. That's good. The magnet seems strong. Can't wait to see if it captures anything. Looks cool. The red didn't come off or mar too badly when wrenching it down. It's a 14mm hex vs the OEM plug being a 16mm which meant I had to go fetch a different socket when I went to put it on. Oh well. I don't like that the head is smaller, but I'm thinking it's probably a good thing because my intuition's telling me it's made of rather low-grade, soft aluminum that would be easy to tear up and strip, so using a smaller wrench/socket on it is gonna maybe not entice you to torque down on it so much. About 20ft-lbs is all you need and it won't leak or back out. Nobody's ever gonna see it but me, but I think I'll smile a little every time I do an oil change.

Couldn't be more happy!
Bought this oil drain plug to replace the leaking one in my 2004 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo with the 4.0 inline 6 cylinder. The one that was in there was the incorrect one and always was dripping. This one will fit perfectly nice tight seal no more leak, plus comes with the extra gaskets for the next oil changes. Highly recommend
