I bought these for a club night party that I was hosting and these definitely brought light to the party. All of the colors were vibrant and just as expected. The quality of these were as expected as well for basic glow sticks. They stayed lit up for about 3 to 4 hours. Definitely a good bang for your buck.

The ones that did light up were bright and impressive but a large amount of them did not work. You crack them the liquid is released and nothing would happen

Glow sticks, chem lights, whatever you call them, these are shelf stable sources of light you can throw into a drawer or up on a shelf in the closet, and they will be good for many years. No worrying about if the batteries are still good, no keeping matches handy to light the candle or lamp (which lamps require keeping oil around too). The chem lights in this package are not the really bright ones that can light up a room, but after you let your eyes get used to them in the dark, they cast enough light you can walk through a room while holding one and not run into anything. They are also good when camping. Another use is for children to play with them, as a safe kind of sparkler firework. When my kiddo was young, I could use a chem light necklace on her at local horse events and easily know where she was while I was working the event. She got to get the attention from her friends for having the cool necklace and I got some extra comfort knowing I could find her in a crowd more easily. Chem lights have uses limited only by your imagination.
