Q: How big are the words

I don't now. I just ordered these for my daughter and she has not received them yet. But, considering the size of the mug, the words look pretty big. Her kithen is done in coffee shop design and these will be perfect

Q: Can I use these with etching cream

There is no sticky back. I use it for painting on wood.

Q: how big is each individual stencil?

The whole stencil sheet is 6 X 8, I have the one that is 6X6, The LIVE on mine is about 72 pt. size. mine says LIVE WITH PROMISE, THE LATTER TWO WORDS ARE ABOUT 48 pt size , LOVE is also about 72 pt size with passion 48 pt size., LAUGH 72 pt size WITH PLEASURE is about 48 pt size, also comes with a flourish and a little butterfly. Hope this helps.

Q: Can this be used to make t-shirts with?

Yes it could be used for t-shirts, i would tape down the stencil to keep movement to minimal
