Noisy Rattle in Top of Unit Big Disappointment
This is my second purchase of this exact model unit. The first one I got 3 yrs ago and run constantly is still doing pretty good. But I have a bigger house now and needed a second unit. Unfortunately the quality of the construction has gone downhill on this model. When I took it out of the box and plugged it in, and turned it on, it immediately began with a loud rattling noise in the top of the unit where the control switches are located and would only stop if you pushed down on it hard from from the top. Apparently there are some loose screws in the top of the unit. I had to use clear packing tape to apply pressure to the unit's top housing in order to stop the horrible rattle. It now runs without the annoying rattle.

Very noisy compared to other Bionaire air filtration system I purchased.
Does the job, but it very noisy. I had to put this one in the dining room instead of the LR where I wanted it as it was too noisy and interfered with TV watching.

A bit loud, but definitely works!
Debated on the rating. This brand was talked up by a coworker. It has definitely helped the nasty air in my office. Smells and smoke just outside my office door made for the inside of my office to smell bad and stale. This has corrected that. However, the unit is a bit loud. I use the low setting while in the office and the high setting when I leave each evening. The remote is huge. Perhaps this would be more useful if I had this in my home and not office. I have not yet decided it I am going to order the table top version for my bedroom. My husband likes to sleep with a low him for background noise.

good product - could be better
This products works well, but was quite disappointed that it does not rotate. because this unit does not rotate, is the reason for the three star rating. (should have read the description better--my fault)

I had two of these at one location; ordered 2 more. New ones are very noisy.

Satisfactory air filter
The air filter appears to be doing its job. . Not too noisy and not too big. I would recommend this product.

It's louder than my old smaller machines but like that the filters only need to be changed every 6 months.
