Q: Is there any plan to launch 5.1 home theatre with dolby digital support or any plan to upgrade this model with dolby support?

Dolby is an expensive affair IF implemented TRULY. we have no plans as such to launch dolby systems, currently, as we don't want to compromise audio quality in the name of dolby.

Q: HDMI ARC cannot carry uncompressed 5.1 PCM. The manufacturer is lying about this being a true 5.1. It is upmixing 2.0 to 5.1. If not give proof?

Open Netflix in your smart TV. Connect Obage CA-1 via hdmi. Play any latest movie. Then change the movie settings in Netflix to 5.1, then to normal. And you will hear the difference. It's not a dolby system, so do not expect dolby effects. But Obage CA-1 is designed to provide an immersive audio experience with it's 5.1 Surround sound capability. If you want dolby effects, buy something else. If you want an immersive experience, Obage CA-1 will blow your mind.

Q: Your customer care said it is not true 5.1. The model only supports PCM (which is 2.0 not 5.1). So what is the truth? Is this real 5.1 or virtual 5.1?

It is a true 5.1 channel. But it does not support Dolby. The truth about PCM is that it can support upto 8 channels. So technically PCM mode can support 5.1 content. You can play 5.1 content on OTT platforms through this system and feel the surround sound effect.
