Yes, it is plastic but not flimsy nor is it obviously plastic! Reminds of the semi-translucent shell shades of the 1980-90s. Great value for the guest room, bath or boudoir….with no “broken glass” worries.Easy to setup and use immediately.

Easy installation and looks great. Softens the light without losing brightness. Great for low ceiling needs as well.

Happy with purchase. Works excellently to transform a bare bulb in a closet to a decent-looking fixture for an amazing price. The picture is from my wife's walk-in closet. We are very pleased considering how little the price tag is. If considered as purely a closet light fixture relative to the cost, it would be 5 stars.I tried to use the second one in our hall to replace a broken fixture on our ceiling fan light, but everyone in the family agreed it looked bad on there—not bad from a distance, looking up the stairs, but when on the same level, even 10 to 12 feet away, it looked shabby.So, at this price point, it is an awesome product for certain spaces. 4 stars out of 5!

These little things are slick! And by slick I mean awesome.Plastic so not worried about hitting this and knocking it down accidentally. Keeps this light in my basement from being too bright.Easy installation, just clips on. Don't need to bend this greatly to get them to fit over bulb and they don't seem to be the kind that would bounce back of stretched too far.Overall, very happy with this!

Got these to cover some Lightbulbs in my garage. Was having a graduation party and wanted it to look a little bit nicer. They are super cute and cover the lightbulb. Easy to put on. Highly recommend.

These lamp bulb covers work fine and they are cute, just too small for what I wanted. They’d be perfect for a tiny kids lamp

At some point someone lost the original covers for the ceiling lights in my house. These diffuse the light well and are easy to install. Now, no more blinding bare bulbs.

Got these to cover the bare bulbs in our closet ceilings, and they work great. Should have done it long ago. They're plastic, and quite lightweight, but certainly sturdy enough for the intended use. Each has a hole in the plastic to allow the light's pull cord/chain to feed through, so operation is not affected. We did have to manually spread the "ears" that grip either side of the bulb, going a bit at a time so that they didn't wind up too loose, but that was easy enough. A really simple gadget that does exactly what we wanted.

These are great. Lightweight and easy to use. I suffer from arthritis and can no longer reinstall the glass globes, so these are the perfect solution. Bare bulbs are so unsightly.

Super easy to install and looks very nice. Since all our accents are black, I just coloured the gold spindle with a black paint pen, and now it’s perfect.
