I didn’t read it clearly enough and was bummed to learn it has to be plugged in to work. It is very cool though. I work with autistic kids and they absolutely love this. I don’t know if it’s a defect but the stars will turn off after like 15 mins and even after I turn it off then on again, they still don’t go on. They flicker as if the bulb is dying. But if I try later on, they work again.Update: after this review someone reached out and is sending a new one. Fantastic customer service too.

8 month old grand daughter seems to like it. She settled down at night really well.

I thought it would be more galaxy like and the lip makes it only expand in one direction. It's definitely cute for a background effect. It also plays sounds if you want. Comes with a remote control you need AA batteries for. Easy to use and set up. Pretty cute for the price 🧡
