TEST RESULTS on “TREEDIX USB CABLE TESTER”
A week before I bought the cable- “Silkland Certified USB4 Cable for Thunderbolt 4 Cable, Compatible with USB C 3.2 Gen 2, 40Gbps”Friends, almost every reviewer is mentioning that this “Silkland CABLE” is good, better, sturdy, perfect, great……etc…etcI tested this cable on “Treedix USB Cable Tester” (Already bought at Amazon at 15=99 GBP.”)“TEAST-RESULT” seen are perfectly match with the specifications mentioned for this ‘Silkland Cable.’ But still my “TEST” was like a theoretical only. (Test Results photo attached for 2 diff cables.)What about “PRACTICAL RESULTs” for this cable??Most important spec is “40 Gbps” which will be very necessary for all of us- NEXT year, probably.(!)I have a THUNDERBOLT PORT on my Laptop but don’t have a such high speed DEVICE or SSD, which can support 40Gbps.(Although I don’t wann to use FAST CHARGING of scarring(!) 240Watt, I always use 0.5–1.0 A charger strictly. Because I am an electrical Engineer)MAIN QUESTION--------Have any body PRACTICALY tested this ‘Silkland Cable’ for the MAX TRANSMISSION SPEED ??If ‘YES’, please provide here the test results. Thanks to all.

Thunderbolt works with HP USB-C Dock G4
Successfully allows a HP Pro 612 G2 Tablet to connect to a HP USB-C Dock G4 and use the extra display connections on the hub via Thunderbolt.Other Thunderbolt 3/4 cables didn't work for the displays.

Excellent cable
Tested on a Mac and PC with a thunderbolt 4 external ssd and getting 3800mb/s throughput which is excellent (and near enough internal nvme speeds)

Works well as a Thunderbolt 3/4 cable
Used to replace a shorter cable (which went mysteriously missing) which connected my M1 Macbook Pro (Thunderbolt 4) with an Acasis external SSD enclosure (Thunderbolt 3) hosting a Samsung 980 Pro.The speeds are very close to those I had with the original cable - sometimes a little higher, sometimes a little lower - and, as shown, are pretty close to the practical maximum speeds for Thunderbolt 3/4 (also the drive is pretty full at this point). So thumbs up to this cable.

Failed after 2 weeks
Poor cable for USB4/TB4 use intermittent connections, slow read and write speeds when used with USB4/TB4 external nvme drives via USB4/TB4 connections.

A lot stiffer than I thought especially at the plug in ends.
Bought to connect MacBook Pro to my 32" 4k monitor, works as expected but bear in mind this is a stiff cable so bending around monitor and MacBook stand is a bit awkward. Once in though it works perfectly.EDITseems Silkland read these reviews and they reached out to me regarding my review and offered me a refund, well done to them
