For me personally who's never owned a wide screen monitor before. But I own two MacBooks, this monitor works perfectly for me and offers me that wide nice split screen.

Bit pricey but other half really happy with this monitor. Bought to replace a smaller curved monitor after screen got damaged. Seems to tick all boxes he requires so happy customer.

Do not buy this product or any other LG product. The screen developed a fault after 8 months. Sent in to repair but returned without repair. Initially they claimed it was out of warranty, when I pushed further they said the monitor was unrepairable. Further pushing and they then said the monitor can't be fixed due to water damage, I asked for images to back up their claim and they said they only have the engineers report and no photos. After further escalation they 'found' photos that showed the inside of the monitor soaking in water with literal puddles and tried to say this may have been caused by the humidity in my office. Escalated further and they have now decided to ignore me. The item isn't fit for purpose and they will do anything to avoid honoring the warranty

My fault for not thoroughly checking the description but this very expensive monitor does not have its own sound/internal speakers.

Not recommended for MacBook Pro M4 pro , macOS Sequoia! you will get the full 5120x1440 resolution but there is no support for HiDPI so you will get blurry text. Even if using Better Display app you will still NOT get HiDPI required for sharp rendering of text. So best use this monitor for MS Windows.

Black screen after just six months. Good while it lasted but for such a high price item I feel scammed. Still waiting to hear from Amazon after complaining.
