Sandalwood is a prevalent fragrance to use as an offering to the Buddha. It is thought to stir the spirituality within and signifies perseverance or joyous efforts. If you don't have the proper vessel, you can make one by pouring a small amount of sand/salt into a ceramic bowl/cup, lay incense on top and burn. If needed, you can easily break the sticks into smaller pieces or simply push into the soil of a plant. Please burn responsibly.
