Definitely moves air quickly
Sometimes I have problems with water standing in my basement a little bit and I do have some dehumidifiers down there but when it rains heavily I need to put some fans to circulate air and keep them moisture from settling. This air mover/ fan is perfect for that. It is slightly loud but with it in the basement I don't notice anyway and it is powerful enough to keep things fairly dry. The first night I had it, I just turned it on in the living room when I went to bed, and it actually did a good job cooling things down a little and the white noise was nice for sleeping LOL generally though this would be very helpful for drying out any area as needed.

It blows. And that's exactly the point of such an item. I use it in my basement.

Controls are confusing
So this a 2 speed blower fan but the controls have 3 speeds. If you put it on full speed it will stop working in less than a minute. As long as you keep it on low or medium it works great.I had to go back and look at the description of the product to figure out what the issue is. I guess they expect you to know that 'High' speed is not usable.
