Was doubtful it will be firm enough when I received it vacuum packed but after an hour or so it took correct shape and is lovely and firm and my dogs use it to get on the couch easily.Reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is I would’ve preferred a deeper step (specifically the top step) as my dogs don’t go down the stairs without hesitation and sometimes still choose to jump off instead of using the narrow stairs… I have 2 Pomeranians

This is fantastic and just the right height to help my cat reach the sofa that is high off the ground.I was not sure if my cat would use it bit after a few days I noticed he uses it to get off the sofa but still jumps up.This is a fab product and highly recommended!

Although my dog is well within the weight limit she is a little too long in the body for these steps. Maybe if I had the 3 it would have been better for her as she doesn’t quite know whether to walk up them or jump. Well made otherwise.

We have a terrier with cruciate ligament issues who now struggles to jump onto the sofa and bed and no amount of discouragement can stop her trying. Therefore I purchased these steps to help her get up without the need to jump and put strain on her back legs.The package was smaller than expected when received but it's vacuum packed and after breaking the seal, giving it a shake and leaving it for a couple of hours to take shape it ends up lovely and firm.The steps are also light, which makes moving them around a breeze and the cover can be easily removed for washing if needed.These steps are literally life-changing for small dogs, especially where their health and wellbeing is concerned, either because of size, age or illness.Wonderful product, cannot recommend highly enough.

Appauling the step was squashed out of shape and was hardly recognisable . It took me 1/2 hr to make it look anything like it should have been. I should of sent it back but needed it for my cat.
