Trying to get away from gas now (GasDryer)
I went with an electric Dryer seeing how my house had 220 and a gas line, but was using the 220 for my SPA. So bought this Splitter and so far no issues. I don't use the hearter part of the spa during summer and I don't use the spa during winter. But if I did, I am sure I would have to worry about tripping the breaker with both on at the same time.

The connectors fit well
The connectors hold snugly and the wires go to the correct terminals. The plastic parts that look like strain relief boots in the pictures are not soft enough to bend. If you need to temporarily split an old-style dryer receptacle for a compatible EVSE plug, this should work fine. It uses folded blades instead of solid, so you might want to be a bit more careful about accidentally bending them. The extra little lip around the edges of the connectors makes it a little easier to grab than one with plain sides.

Very useful when the storms hit
We've recently experienced several rounds of extreme weather. While we were much luckier than most, we did still have periodic power outages of varying duration,This device enabled us to "split" output capacity and operate a greater number of "critical" appliances, lights, etc.Works great!
