Cheap
This thing is incredibly cheap. One of the nuts to the handle fell off when I opened the package. I couldn't tighten it all the way, because the bolt would stick out from the bottom of the planer.. The plastic is incredibly cheap. I would highly recommend spending more and getting something better.

Handle broke and the blades came super dull
Just buy a nicer one for ten or twenty bucks more. The planners front handle broker bc of the metal nub that keep the bolt from slipping out in the first hour of use. The blades are super dull and even when sharper the screw don’t seem to be strong enough to keep the blade straight. I feel like I would have been better off with a sharpened butter knife.

It’s good, but it needs help
For this price range, I think this is fine, but it is obviously not something you would use to make high end furniture. As others mentioned, the plastic parts are not cleaned very well and there are a few extra pieces still attached. The body is made from stamped sheet metal so it is pretty lightweight. My main concern is that the handles are attached with nuts and screws from the bottom, and one of them seems to stick out a tiny bit. This is probably something I can easily fix, but i wish I didn’t have to. Other than that, the blade is a little rusted and chipped, which, again, it is something I can fix but wish I didn’t have to. The bottom does seem flat, which is definitely a good thing. I’m rating this 4 stars and not lower, because at this price. It can be easily fixed and it gets the job done, so it isn’t a bad deal.

Cheapest made I’ve seen
It’s one thing to get some cheap tools to learn/teach someone. It’s a whole other thing to just throw money away which is exactly what you’re doing buying these. All the metal is pressed so uneven I spent 30 minutes with pliers trying to straighten it all out to make the blades straight. I finally just threw them away. Couldn’t get it adjusted right to stop one side from gouging out. Do not buy these.
