I needed a reliable, powerful access point to extend Wi-Fi coverage across my living area, and the U6+ has exceeded my expectations. My network setup includes a Unifi Express and an 8-port UniFi switch with PoE, making it easy to integrate the U6+.Setup was incredibly straightforward—essentially plug-and-play. After connecting the U6+ to my UniFi switch, the device was detected instantly in the UniFi controller. A few quick configuration steps later, my network was up and running with strong, consistent coverage throughout my home.Overall, I couldn’t be happier with how seamlessly the U6+ integrated into my UniFi setup. It’s a solid investment for anyone serious about their network performance and reliability.

There's a QR code to scan on the flap of the box when you open it. Took me longer to figure that out than I did actually getting it set up.You do need power over Ethernet - if you don't already have it, make sure you buy a PoE adapter/switch to go along with.Setup was pretty straightforward. You do need an app to set it up, but only for the device doing theil initial setup.I can get pretty good signal strength from 200 feet away with one wall between me and it, acceptable signal in my workshop behind the house with many walls and a breaker box in-between, and the speeds are drastically better than the stock router that our ISP gave us.

The device itself and the functionality I've gotten from the them has been amazing. Didn't really need to do any setup other than making sure they can connect back to the Ubiquity Cloud I have in my stack. The entire Ubiquiti setup was very straight forward. The reason this review is not 5 stars is only due to the mounting system on these APs. As long as you don't have to move the AP around it's fine, but troubleshooting is a pain due to the mounting/un-mounting process.

Works great and covers a large area while allowing everyone to connect and have 0 speed issues. In ubiquity management it’s easy to set up and have all sorts of fun with.It’s big, has blue light so don’t put it where anyone sleeps.Probably could turn the light off but having a giant eye in the wall keeps small children compliant if they see it “watching” them.

Worked great! Did not come with POE injectors (which is probably stated in the specs info but I did not see it). Used a POE++ switch and they worked great!

Excellent device. You never fail. I always use the best.AP equipment compatible with Ubiquiti Lite versions and others.Excellent for compatibility with my Unifi Network platform.
