Used to replace the weak items in my motorcycle tank bag. These are excellent and hold fast with great fixings and have done a great job.

So strong they’re hard to remove. Brilliant!

I took a chance on an idea I had for mounting some traction boards on the side of our van and they have been brilliant!We’ve done over 700 miles through Scotland and they haven’t budged!

Each disc is not a single magnet but 6 smaller magnets embedded and covered in rubber, the whole thing being about 8mm thick. On one side is a hole for an M6 size bolt and 2 bolts, split washers and washers are provided but you could of course use your own or M6 hooks or whatever you want, being careful not to over-tighten and damage the rubber or create a scratch hazard.The magnetic discs can be attached to an object with bolts with a view to the object then attaching to a suitable metal surface. Alternatively, the discs can be bolted to a surface for metal objects to be held magnetically. Just realised that's probably stating the obvious!When initially playing about with them it seemed (never fully confirmed) that of the 6 magnets in a ring alternate ones were polarised the opposite way and if each of the rings were held tightly in the correct position you could feel a strong repulsive force. It however proved impossible to hold them like that for more than a second or two until the attraction forces twisted one disc round and they slammed tightly together. At one point I thought I'd never get them apart but eventually managed, using a piece of thin, hard plastic then sliding them apart. Temporarily attaching bolts to the screw holes to improve grip by hands would probably have been easier. They are strong!I think these are good if you have a use for this design of magnet. However, a little expensive.

Very powerful antenna base magnets, perfect for what I need them for. Just be very careful with the thickness of the metal you place them on, as the ‘attraction’ is proportional to the thickness, and they are vert difficult to remove from 5mm steel plate.

Very powerful (too powerful for my use). Nice rubber coating, would get again if required.Don't let the two magnets combine lined up as it is a complete pain to get them apart.
