Gotta have one
If you are boating you have to have one of these. The bag of rope is a much cleaner and easier way to carry a safety line that a coil of rope.

Good for Training and Scouting
I have these for training Boy Scouts water rescue skills as well as using them when we go out canoeing or white water rafting. They work as advertised and as long as you remember to let them dry out before storing them; they will last a long time if properly taken care of. One Caveat about these as well as any throw bag, if you are using them in a clorinated environment (i.e. a pool) for training, put them in a dry bag WET then rinse them off once you get back home and hang them out to dry. I forgot to do that to one of mine and the clorine ate through the canvas bag and rope within 1 summer of training sessions (3 a day 5 days a week) granted, more use than standard, but information you may want to consider if you are going to use this for any type of training, or if you are a lifeguard and want to keep this in your jump bag or straped on your waist pack for a quick throw item. These are very light weight and on a Sunny day, they can dry out in about 30-45 minutes. Overall, I would recommend them to anyone who is looking for a quick introduction to throwbags. I would also recommend these to any and all Scoutmasters or troops for both training purposes of both 2nd class and 1st class rank requirements as well as any water activities.I will definately be purchasing more of these for both myself and for my Troop!

Kwik Tek LL-1 Life Line Throw Bag
Ordered and received a Kwik Tek LL-1 Life Line Throw Bag. Upon arrival, it appears well built with very basic instructions printed on carry bag. Took it into my yard and was able to accurately throw it, deploying the majority of line with ease. My purpose for this item is to carry it on my kayak and frankly, I hope I never have to use it, but feel confident it willl do the job should the need arise. I consider it a quality item that's well worth the money.
