Art Forms of Nature: Giant Artist's Colouring Book (Multilingual Edition) (Spanish, French, Italian, English and German Edition) Paperback – November 15, 2015

This is different than I 1st thought. It is oversized. Instead of colored print and one to color is wrong. You get 2 prints to color , paint etc. Thick paper, very detailed, not grayscaled like the other books. More color or paint by #s without the #s. You do have the 1x2 inch colored pic. So get out your magnifying glass. Very advanced and pics. cannot be left as is. This is not supposed to be a bad review, just letting you know you have to be advanced.

Very detailed drawings to color. Very small examples (thumbnails) of full color original works. But you can find reproductions of some of the originals on the Internet to see what originals look like. And I found full color thumbnails examples to be almost 'the norm' with other coloring books I considered to buy. Paper quality of this book is very good and so is the quality of drawings (very light outline without shading which I prefer for coloring work).

Les dessins sont très beaux mais les motifs reproduits d'après les oeuvres de Haeckel sont parfois très complexes - à réserver aux "coloristes" avancés. Le papier de tres bonne qualité mais bcp plus texturé que ceux des livres de coloriage adulte habituels. Idéal pour l"aquarelle mais aussi crayons de couleurs en permettant bcp de couches successives - mais avec beaucoup de patience
