Q: Is the ripcord really hard to pull out? The pin on the end of mine is a really tight fit in the socket on the alarm.

It is not difficult, the actual plug and socket is a standard earphone socket.

Q: Is it splash-proof? Can it be used in the shower?

I haven't tested it but I very much doubt it. It is not designed for that sort of application.

Q: What is the size of the alarm please?

It is actually given (though hard to find) in the description :-) W 85 x H 90 x D 22 mm (3.33 x 3.5 x 0.75 inches). I would also add that it is very loud!! Which is good, for an alarm.
