I use these for soft-soldering jewelry and stained glass pieces, and they are wonderfully heat-resistant. I bought some cheap silicone fingertips that only worked about 10% as effectively as these. They fit snugly on my fairly small fingers, and provide enough flexibility that I can still "feel" the pieces I'm working on, but they're also so heat-resistant that I rarely have to move my hand away. They stand up well to flux and other chemicals, and are easily washable. I wish I'd bought these in the beginning - they have saved me a lot of frustration!

I like to use my glue gun to do crafts, but I have a problem with burning my fingertips because I can't help but use my fingers to press down on the item to set the hot glue... Well, I am putting flowers and leaves on a reef, well you know it only sticks if I put my fingers on the flowers or leaf's and burn my fingertips. LOL Anyways, it's a great item to use. They are easy to put on and comfortable. It has saved my fingers tips.

I really love the concept of these, and they work as stated. The only problem is the static they create in the hair. I wonder if there's a product I could wash these in that would eliminate that? But, these are so much better than those stupid knit gloves that really are not protective. These keep my fingertips from burning.

Great for stylist who are working with their hands and heat all day these are perfect and sleek slim fit.

These do not help much with the heat from the woodburning tips -- the heat comes pouring through. Guess I will have to try something else. However, if they are being used for some other heat related project they stay on your fingers very well!!

These finger guards are working well to protect my fingers while using my steam iron for close up ironing for sewing projects. My iron puts out a lot of steam and burnt fingers have been a problem. I ordered a size M/L and I think it was the best size for me. I wear a size 8 glove and size 8 ring. The finger guard thumb piece is a bit long for my thumb, but so far that hasn't been a problem. I like the fact that I can still use my fingers without the restriction of a full glove. Having the guards be slightly large may help prevent the stitching from coming apart. If it does come apart, then there will be enough room to restitch the seam.

This product provides protection for my fingers while working on stained glass, while allowing me to keep a good grip on my glass.Highly recommend it, at least for people who work on stained glass.

Heat resistant I’m sure. Comfy fit fine. But I cannot hold my hair with them on! I want to use curling iron with right hand. Hold hair to roll with left. Then guide curling iron with left. I was burning my fingertips when guiding iron. That is why I wanted them. My new curling iron doesn’t have but a tiny spot that’s cool on the end to guide with. Don’t work for me. Not pricey so won’t worry about return.
