Great Heater
I love this space heater. I previously bought the Dr. Heater, an infrared heater, which works great but I wanted one without a fan. After doing some research I bought this. It works great. I followed suggestions / instructions to run it on the highest setting in a well ventilated room for a few hours when you first get it. You definitely want to do that so it can burn off any smells that occur in manufacturing. After doing that I found that if I did run on the highest setting again I initially might smell "that smell" a tiny bit but that went away. I use it in an approximately 350 square foot room and rarely run it on the highest setting (H3). I typically get it to the temperature I want then put it on Eco mode so it can hold the temp without constantly using electricity and only do so when the temp drops. So I found it uses less electricity than the fan-based heaters. On Eco mode you don't feel a lot of heat emanating from it but it really is putting off heat in the room, and not a drying heat like with the heaters with fans. Last, it doesn't get too hot on the fins, which is great because I have two cats. I feel safer with this type of heater especially around my pets. Highly recommend.

Excellent Customer Service
Mine seemed to be defective because the “new” smell never went away, and sometimes I could hear a dripping or gurgling sound from the oil. I sent an email to the Dreo customer service (printed in the user manual), and someone replied within 24 hours. They sent a prepaid shipping label to return the unit and promptly provided a refund. Quick and efficient service.

Great Customer Service and a super functional heater/remote
I love this heater. Temperature numbers large enough to be readable from a distance, and can be dimmed when desired (as can the sound of the beeps). Remote works well.Outstanding customer service. My original heater developed a shrieking noise, and within a week of notification, Customer Service had a replacement to my home. Clear and frequent communication throughout the process. Thank you, Tracey.

Beware of getting a used unit.
It looks like I got a used unit.1. The battery was already mounted in the remote but not protected by plastic so it was dead. Remote worked after I put in a fresh battery.2. Screws were loose outside their plastic bag.3. The power cord was only loosely tied, not in the usual factory rightly done manner.4. The foam packing at the opening end was broken.5. The box opening end had a lot of extra plastic tape on it, much more sealing than was usual.Other than the above, the unit seemed to work as advertised. Note that it was hard to see the LED function on the unit under bright lights. One need the remote to fully access all the functionality of the unit.

Awesome
This thing is awesome. My toddler’s bedroom is hard to keep a constant temperature. It’s a fairly large room with 40 year old windows. We tried a different fan style space heater that had an auto temp on/off setting, but it kept waking her up in the middle of the night when it would turn on. Any parent knows you do not want infants or toddlers waking up unnecessarily. I upgraded to this radiator heater and, not only is it silent, but the room temperature stays with 1° all night long unless the house furnace is set too high. Because of that, I can set the furnace slightly lower than normal because I know the bedroom will stay constant and warm. I love the ability to set the temp I want and leave it. I’ve had other oil filled radiators that only have a hot to cold dial, and it’s a pain trying to guess the temperature. The quality of the unit is also very nice. The screen/ display is surprisingly nice. The only downside is when you first turn it on, it sets itself to high for an hour, so that can spike the temperature. I don’t understand why that can’t be turned off, but I have to make sure to turn the heater on before bedtime so it doesn’t shoot the room temp up too high. Either than or I just turn the temp all the way down during the day to prevent it from triggering the full blast mode from having to turn it on. Overall, solid unit and I’m happy I bought it.

ECO Mode is USELESS - I'll explain why there is NOTHING 'ECO' about it
First of all I LOVE oil heaters and I'm disappointed because I really wanted to like this one.The BIGGEST issue with it is the 'ECO' (Thermostat) mode is OPPOSITE of what 'ECO' is supposed to be. It wastes energy needlessly and completely ignores your thermostat setting.I like to keep my bedroom 1-2F warmer at night instead of turning up the central heat. My old thermostat oil heater will simply 'warm up' for 10 minutes and then cycle on/off in 'low power' mode since it's already at room temperature. THAT is how a thermostat 'ECO' (Thermostat) mode is supposed to work. This DREO will run at FULL POWER for 40 Minutes REGARDLESS if you set it near room temperature. In my picture you can see I even lowered it to 55F! (Room temp was 70F) and it was still running at full power for over 30 minutes. Then what's the point of the thermostat!? It's just wasting power and heat. You would think it's a defect but no, hidden in the description that's how it was programmed. This is from the manufacturer:" For the first 40 minutes, regardless of the temperature set on the ECO mode, the thermostat does not intervene and remains on high. This is designed to ensure that the oil heater quickly raises the room temperature when it is low, providing rapid warmth to your room. "So they basically programmed it to 'bypass' the thermostat for 40 Minutes in Thermostat 'ECO' Mode. That makes NO sense. Oil heaters only need around 10 minutes max to warm up, then the thermostat should take over and adjust power if needed to reach the desired temperature. Also in my picture you can see that it's not even a true 1500W heater, it only draws ~1435W. My old oil heater draws 1540W. It still gets hot but it's misleading specs. There was also a faint high pitched whine coming from the LCD screen (not the heating element) because it would go away if I turned the display off with the remote. And speaking of the display, it doesn't even show you what power level (LOW 600W, MED 900W, HI 1500W) mode the heater is running in while in thermostat mode. But of course I found it it's running on HIGH for 40 minutes. My old heater with a small display shows you and even lets you 'limit' the power to LOW or MEDIUM in thermostat mode if you want. It's a shame because it's a really attractive looking heater, but the entire reason you pay a premium for an oil heater with a digital display is for the Thermostat function, which doesn't work like it's supposed to. This is basically only good as an oil heater with manual controls, so might as well get one of those for half the price.
