Does this include a bucket or filter to trap leaves and other debris?

Hi yes it does have a grid to trap leaves. This was the perfect solution to a very shallow drain. I had very few cm to play with. There is a little hatch to open to clear any blockage. This needs to be scooped out. The grid is not ideal when used for washing machine outlet as well as the fluff from clothes seems to get caught up. But regular inspection seems to help with this. Hope this helps. :)

Will this connect to a 68mm drownpipe?

Mr keen. I have not yet used this bottle gully, but I checked it with a piece of old 68mm outside diameter pipe and it fits perfectly but not tightly in the inner hole of the adaptor ring marked “75”. There is a very slight gap of about 0.75 mm all round which for normal rainfall and with an outlet pipe of 110mm should not present a problem. As a precaution against back pressure forcing water out of the small gap in torrential rain conditions my intention is to pack the channel around the above adaptor hole with Evo-still plumbers mate or similar plumber’s putty. A standard underground soil pipe fitting does fit the outlet and it’s a great bit of kit if you have a shallow run.

Solved my issues

The top of my foundations are near ground level and normal bottle gullys won’t fit. This has a flap at an angle that drips down under gravity to stop back flow and smells.
