Do you have raccoons?
I REALLY like this feeder! It is the first auto feeder I have purchased. We live in the country and found a momma cat and 4 kittens on our front porch recently. She was pretty frail, so we started putting food out for her and the kittens and it was well received. We were going to be traveling for a week, so I went looking for a feeder. I consciously had raccoons on the brain when I was shopping. I was looking for one with a shape that I could have a shot at somehow securing. This one has a nice flat top and I envisioned being able to place something heavy'ish on it. I was right. I imagined that I would have a decent chance of beating the raccoons. I was wrong. The first night, I placed a small weight on it to test the waters. Came out the next morning and found the feeder about 3 feet from where I had placed it. It was on its side and in several pieces (not broke, just disassembled... much of the product is held together by gravity). The next night, I placed a 16x8x2 inch concrete patio paver on top of it. It weighed in at just over 16.5 pounds. The feeder certainly wasn't designed with this in mind, but it held up like a champ. The feeder was up against a wall, so the front and two sides were exposed. My greatest regret was that I placed all of this directly under my security camera, out of its line of sight. I came out the next morning and again found it laid over and in pieces with the patio stone on the ground where the feeder previously was. The security footage showed a raccoon come up and was evidently there for 15-20 mins then left. A little later it came back with a friend to finish the job.We were leaving that day so I hung my head in defeat and let the neighbor take care of the cats. I'm certain that I can up with a better challenge for the raccoons, but I haven't tried yet.To this feeder's credit though, it took a beating those two nights and survived with only a few scuffs on the face where they were evidently dragging it across the porch. Still works perfectly. Also to the feeder's credit, it has a VERY flexible feeding schedule which was easy to set up. My original plan was to feed 3 or 4 times during the day and try to limit what food was left in the bowls overnight to maybe limit what was attracted to it. That attraction portion of that sentence was just dumb thinking on my part. The scheduling part worked perfect though. As I was putting it together the first time (super easy) I actually caught myself thinking "oh, that's a smart way to design that..." I don't do that often. It really is a neat design overall. I can vouch that comes apart and cleans very easy if you find it covered in racoon drool.I was able to plug it in, but it has a nice battery backup for peace of mind.In came into this purchase knowing that I was going to be asking something of it that in no way it was advertised to do. It met every expectation, was easy to use, holds a ton of food, is easy to clean and is very robust. 5 stars from me.

Good product
This is a great product. I love that it makes my life easier. I program it to serve 6 different portions throughout the day and never have to worry about whether or not I forgot to feed the cats. It keeps the dry food in the bowl and not all over my floor. It’s easy to use and easy to clean. The only thing i haven’t figured out is how to turn the voice recording volume down. It did startle me the first day. Overall it’s simple functional product that is easy to set up and adjust to your cat’s needs.

LIFE SAVER
This feeder is Awesome. It is very sturdy and easy to assemble. The food capacity in my opinion holds about 2 weeks worth of food for feeding 2 cats twice a day at 1/2 cup per feeding each. The timer is also easy to set and you can put a pre-recorded message to alert your fur babies that is is time to eat and the food will will pour out. The message is audible enough for them to hear even from the other end of my house, and repeats itself three times. You would plug this in the wall however it does have the option for batteries should the power go out. My Message/ Alert to my kitties "Milooooooo, Miiiiiken Mommy and Daddy love you, it's time to eat"

Solid feeder with a slight quirk for me
I have had this for a few months now. Overall, I like it and recommend but there’s one thing holding me back from the 5 star; The notification of low food. When I first got this, it said it was low food and to refill constantly even when full. Like it never DIDN’T say low food. I’d just keep getting notifications thru the app. Then, the sensor never worked when it actually did get kinda low (I just figured maybe it wasn’t low enough to trigger it).Today, I got a notification it was running low and it had literally no food to even give a single feeding. Generally, this really isn’t an issue because you can see the feeding tank but my Chewy delivery was a day behind so I was out. I have wet food and other options though.Other than this annoyance, it has worked great. App is easy to program and stays on schedule. My cats have unplugged the power a couple times but it still fed on time with the batteries which is good. The notification when it is disconnected from WiFi has been accurate but only happened twice due to the plug physically coming undone. Good for peace of mind that the batteries will still feed on time though.Knibb high football rules.

Paid Extra for Wi-Fi, Got Glitches Instead
The feeder itself works really well. It connected to the app without any issues, and programming it was simple once it was connected to Wi-Fi. The portion sizes are accurate, the bowls are easy to clean, and it's not noisy either. However, the problem lies in how the app communicates with the feeder. From the very beginning, the app keeps saying “cat feeder low food, refill it in time please” — even when the feeder is completely full. I initially thought it might need a few cycles to register the food level, but several days have passed and it still shows the same incorrect warning. On top of that, I receive offline notifications almost every time I’m not in the same room as the device. When this happens, I can’t manually feed or adjust settings through the app. The feeder is placed very close to my router, so a weak signal shouldn’t be the issue. In short, while the feeder itself does its main job well, the Wi-Fi feature — which I paid extra for — has been disappointing and unreliable.Update: The company got in touch with me, issued me a full refund, and helped me troubleshoot. Turns out the problem was a defective cord, resulting in the item running on battery power, which causes the item to not work at full capacity (purposefully so battery life can be extended as long as possible in case of power outage for a significant period of time). Cord was replaced with a spare I had, and there have been no issues since! They also extended my warranty even further & stated they will provide a full free replacement if it messes up anymore between now & then.
