This is such a fantastic idea for a cat toy. It's fun for the human too! It reminds me of a toy I had when I was younger, a magnetic fishing pole with magnetic fish. We bought all the attachments, there was even a surprise extra attachment! I was disappointed the "DIY clip" wasn't included, I was looking forward to putting my cat's favorites toys on it. Although I did find that I can remove the attachments and add my own, it's just a little bit trickier.There was an email on the box for any feedback you might have or if you're not completely satisfied. I sent the email with feedback not even expecting a human response, just an automated "thank you for your feedback". I was shocked that the CEO himself responded!I ran into 2 issues, 1 was that the telescopic pole came unglued(?) from the black handle. Nothing broke, it just didn't hold anymore. And the other problem was that we found it a bit unwieldy because of how long the string was. It didn't have that "flick" effect from cheaper lighter string versions. We quickly got over the unwieldy part by simply wrapping the string a bit if we wanted it shorter. We appreciate how long it is and wouldn't want it shorter.As for the telescopic part we tried glueing it with a glue gun and with super glue, it stayed okay but had a super glue smell after. :/ Thankfully the CEO directly sent me a replacement along withe DIY clip and even 2 extra attachments. We of course did not ask for a refund since we love it, nor did we ask for a replacement or even extra attachments. We were just trying to provide feedback and even repeatedly stated we didn't need any replacements. But he sent them anyway.We found the magnet to be plenty strong for all the attachments, we love the appropriate heft of the handle, makes it feel high quality, and that the cats can disconnect the toys when they've "caught their prey".We were blown away by the level of customer service. I think every cat owner should have one of these!

I was excited with the idea of a cat wand toy that has a detachable toy. Hunting, catching, "killing" is a natural instinct for cats - and play that accomplishes this cycle is healthy for our pets.On the end of the wand toy string is a fully encased magnet - the feather, soft animal (and more types sold in an add-on pack) each also have a safely encased magnet.The magnets are just the right strength for an active session of hunting. As in real life as soon as a cat catches its target, it can grabbed, pounced on. Cats often shake their prey toy, and the game continues because kitty has made a catch - no strings attached 😁.Now kitty is free to complete this play cycle more satisfactorily because, ta-da! Kitty hasSuccessfully won its prize.Now, the design features. This a strong, well build play equipment. The wand collapses to self-store and provides a tangle free cord storage.I appreciate the rod length options-fully extended for large area playing, or proportionalized size for timid cats or a smaller play area.I could continue on praising features of this cat wand. But to bottom line it: This wand is unique in a few keys areas. It is sturdy, and soundly made for years of play. Prey that can be pounced on or plucked out of the air, and become the cats hunt. They truly name a capture and are free to strut their stuff, of pull it off to hide. One of my cats frequently douses her prey in her water fountain before offering it as a prize to those she loves.Every cat family needs at least on of these!This is a best of the best find for me!!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

The idea of this wand toy is really cool and something new! Two unique highlights:(1) the toy is attached to the want string with a magnet so when the cat “catches” it, it comes off and the cat can truly catch the toy.(2) due to the magnetic attachment, you can swap out what toy to attach to keep your cat interested over time AND you can attach your own custom toy if desired.Overall, this wand is great and my cat loves it. The wand and toys are all high quality and it has a convenient notch at the bottom so you can easily and neatly wrap the string up to store it. The one aspect that could use a little improvement is the strength of the magnet. It’s pretty sensitive and the toy detaches very easily. For some cats this might be fine, but for more “heavy pawed” cats, sometimes the toy comes off too quickly and they can’t get a full chase in (a couple times the toy detached as I was swinging the wand aggressively - so again, magnets may be weak for cats who like fast and furious play).

The best cat wand of them all! Very sturdy, longer than others, and best of all the toys are magnetically attached, so my kitty boys can grab and run with them. They love it, and I love that I can play fish with the wand to pick up the toys with the magnet wherever they drop their catch off. And there is a add on pack of toys that you can get separately to add to the fun. Really smart well thought out cat toy.

This cat toy seemed like a great idea - my cats love the fishing wands and this one is designed to actually let them "catch" their prey. The rod is collapsible and feels VERY sturdy and is neatly designed with grooves to store the line when not in use. It also comes with a duplicate feather toy.However, 3 design flaws:1) The clasp is magnetic. It's a pretty strong magnet so that you can fling the toy around and not detach through normal movement. That's great. Unless you live somewhere in tight quarters with metal bits around like heater covers, nails in floorboards etc. and that strong magnet just sticks to everything else instead.2) The clasp is a plastic cap. I have wooden floors so it is LOUD.3) The clasp looks small enough to swallow and not permanently attached to the feather toy (you slip it like threading a paperclip).So unfortunately this toy will see little use in my household. But if you have carpets, large open spaces to play, and can overlook the clasp, it should be a fun time.
