Nice Affordable Functional
There are cheaper chairs out there, but I found out you get what you pay for. There are also way more expensive chairs out there but you're not going to get the style and functionality that come with this chair. My wife and I shopped around, including the brick and mortar big box chains looking for just the right chair for our twelve year old son who has taken a serious interest in drawing. I had experience in this area being an artist myself. I can say two things about this chair, I wish I'd had one like this from the time I was twelve, and for the price it's well worth it. The chair is sturdier than the cheaper chairs that we found, and it's functional in that it's adjustable and comfortable, and it looks really nice too. If you or someone you know will be spending hours at a drawing or drafting desk, then I'd recommend this chair. I use my son's chair while he's at school. We're are happy with it and we're glad we didn't just settle for any of the cheaper chairs we found. As a parent and an artist you can't go wrong with this one.

Comfortable back support
I am using this chair in my art studio. It is very comfortable and well-made. I gave it 4 stars for comfort only because I’m very short and my feet barely touch the floor. I would give 5 stars if it would have a lower adjustment position. It does have a lower bar that I can put my feet on. I would recommend this stool.

Wished it had better support.
The chair was very easy to put together. I like the look of the chair. I am do not like that when you sit in the chair it drops 5-6 inches, almost as thought the gas shock is not holding the pressure.

The most comfortable drafting chair, with looks to kill
This is hands down the best drafting i have ever used. It is extremely comfortable with thick cushion and extends high enough when I change the height of my studio design triflex drafting desk to a standing desk. I can't say whether it will stand up to the test of time yet..ill have to update later on that. Also it has a adjustable foot rest. Most drafting chairs footrest don't adjust and its very uncomfortable.

BROKEN FOOT REST
I purchased this chair and other from OJCommerce in March of 2019. I was going to return it because I had a feeling it just wasn't going to hold up. Wish I had gone with my gut feeling. I kept the chair because it is comfortable. As you can see in the picture the foot rest is broken, wobbly and just unstable.OJCOMMERCE will not replace the foot rest. I don't want to return it...I would just like a new foot rest.

Maybe okay for taller lightweights
This chair looks great. It was easy to assemble. The padding was nice. This chair just didn’t last long. After the first 30 minutes of using the footrest, the gasket snapped and required screwing the stopper so tightly that it damaged the chrome post. After a few days of use (6-8 hours at a time) the chair developed an odd odor. Others have described this issue with other chairs that use PU leather. The chair also had an awful creaking when shifting weight while sitting (leaning forward and then resting against the back) on the underside of the seat that was annoying to say the least. The padding was ample. The fully-compressed seat height was odd. Since the foot rest no longer stayed on the post, I often felt like my feet were dangling just out of reach of if the chair feet. I am 5’11”, so I’m average height. I had hoped I could use the chair both low and high. I found neither to work due to all the other issues. Finally, the piston gave out after 2 months. I weigh 210lbs. That was the last straw. The chair was disassembled (completely) to see if the creaking could be fixed and perhaps still use the seat. No luck. The construction was such that the wood of the seat base rubbed the metal frame. I tinker, but this would’ve been a waste of time to rebuild. Not a chair for me. It will also be the last chair I buy without being able to sit in it. Measurements and specs are no substitute for a real sit-down.

It's the perfect chair!
Very easy to put together and the height was spot on for my custom built desk. The casters roll very easily on a rather thick rug. I was actually worried it would be difficult, but it's not. Plenty comfy on the tush. Highly recommend.

Tall and Comfortable
Tall enough for the use that I needed. Very comfortable. My only complaint is that it is a little loose/rickity at full height.
