Balanced
Let me start with this: Balancing a fan is not an easy task. Period! If you're not a patient person, I wouldn't bother tackling fan balancing...especially if you're a perfectionist. That said...This is typical for a fan balancing set. There are enough weights to balance several fans. The clips work with the weights as expected and the weights adhere nicely to the fan...once you know where you're placing them. Make sure you clean the top of your blades before placing you weights. These aren't harder to install than any other fan weights you can get. Like I said...the task itself requires patience. These are a great value and offer some peace of mind...once installed. Good stuff!

Very good solution for balancing ceiling fans, definitely not a job for the faint of heart
First off, having to balance fan blades is something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemies. Okay... maybe I would... but it's still one of the most infuriating exercises you will ever go through in DIY home repairs, and you will need the patience of a saint to do it right.Buying my new home, I found the ceiling fan in my bedroom to constantly wobble when approaching high-speeds. I would have spent a few hundred dollars to replace the entire fan assembly. But when I got a chance to try out this HFYHWT (nice name dudes) brand ceiling fan balancing kit, I figured it'd be worth a shot. This really is one of those tasks that will test your mettle but is worth it in the end. They provide you with a good set of tools for both trying out different weights in different positions on the fan blades and for permanently mounting them. It honestly took me a few hours of trial and error. But the good thing is that as you go along, you'll start to see micro-improvements over time that will give you a hint that it's starting to work. While the weights themselves have an adhesive backing, I have to say I was a bit skeptical of how much the adhesive would handle the gravity vs inertia vs sheer electrical will power of a fan at high speeds. And having read reviews on other models where people talked of weights flying off and damaging TVs and such, I didn't want to take that chance and added some additional heavy duty adhesive to hold the weights down.Overall, this balancing kit did the trick. Sure, it was a very tedious process to get things right. But this kit does what it says it does so long as you have the patience to see it through. If you're looking to fix a wobbly ceiling fan and can put up with the aggravation of doing it yourself, this is a great option.I'd still recommend bumping up the adhesion with some tape of some sorts. But to each their own.
