This is a great product for this excellent cheap price
Gone are the days of using pillows, magazines and sometimes even cutting boards lol... This is a great product for this excellent cheap price. I work for at least a few hours before feeling the slight heat on this cushion pad but that is for expected after hours of working on a laptop. This certainly saved me from getting heat bumps and I had hives before which means I easily get itchy if I am exposed to a bad heat like this. This product serves the purpose very well and highly recommended.

Wish it worked. It doesn't.
I've had this... oh, a month or two now? We're getting into warmer weather so I'm using it more often on bare legs. I was looking for something official that worked to keep the heat of my laptop from hurting my legs--by "official" I mean something besides the old 1-inch 3-ring binder from college I've been using as a makeshift. This does not work. The laptop heat still gets to the point of burning my legs. I've used the product both ways, with the air flow part directly under the laptop, and also with the air flow part on my legs. Neither works. This is, unfortunately, a waste of money.

Fulfilled my needs.
Desperately needed something between me and my notebook. I sit in a reclined position with the notebook sitting on my chest. Best position for me since it allows me to best see the screen. But notebook is getting older and throwing off more and more heat. This does a pretty good job. Before, l was using magazines, cardboard, a blanket (in the winter) which is a bad idea since it restricts cooling, etc. This is much better and does not slide around as bad as the other items I was using, although it unfortunately still slides around more that preferred. Overall, for the price paid, and for my needs, an excellent buy. Didn't give it more stars since it slides more than I would prefer. In fairness, I am not using it in the way it was designed to be used, flat on a table or lap.

Too slippery for lap. If you move-so does the computer. Keeps it cool, but it might land on the floor, so you would have a 'cool' damaged laptop.

it works - its a perfect size for a MBP 15" - at least in that it exactly matches up. But when you use it on your lap, this sort of sags down between your legs and thus ends up being not quite wide enough. But I use this often - and it is nicer than using nothing. Less heat for sure.

Simple looking, but works well.
I wasn't sure what to expect because I'm used to having the larger computer stands with fans. But I recently purchased a small 2 in 1 laptop that was getting hot on my lap and on my desk.I didn't want anything bulky, so I took a chance on this. It surprisingly works really well. The way the cushion is designed keeps it puffy even when the laptop is on it. It doesn't collapse or flatten and this is how it maintains the airflow. The mesh material is strong and coarse, which also helps keep my computer in place.

Waste of money
This pad provides little to no heat protection after about 10 minutes. To add insult to injury, it would cost me more in time and effort to return it.

Nice, minimal cooling pad
It's a simple tool, but it does the job well. My computer is able to get the air flow it needs to stay reasonably cool-ish, and the pad is easy to fold up & carry with me. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is that the top (the side your computer sits on) is a bit slippery, so the computer will slide off if it's on a steep angle (such as on your knees if you're laying back on the couch). But for the price and simplicity, it's a relatively minor drawback.
