Quantofix 1138902 Hydrogen Peroxide 100 Reagent Test Strips for testing H2O2, CE-Marked, 6mm x 95mm (Pack of 100)

These come nicely packaged in a waterproof container, access to strips is easy. I have used these on a couple of pools - as well as some whitening strips! The results were all safe apart from the strips, which is as you would expect being 10% peroxide. The price is a bit steep for some chemical-impregnated paper, but I suppose there's not a lot of competition in the testing strips market.

I use these to test chemical content in my aquarium and they do the job well, but original product designation is meant for stronger chemicals and labs etc. However, the sticks are accurate and are stored safetly in an airtight waterproof plastic container to ensure no degradation can occur.The only slight downside is the price, but perhaps the high quality makes the sticks a worthwhile investment.

100======I've used these to test the strength of older peroxide. In hairdressing it needs to be stronger for lightening and if you use old peroxide the strength may have deteriorated and therefore won't lift.These confirmed that my peroxide hadn't weakened and the strength was the same as the container.With a hundred test sticks they'll last for ages and they're not too dear overall.They're well made and accurate.TEST===These test stripes are good indicators and it has a helpful chart /difference colour.WORKS=======With the solutions I used they were fine.

These are very easy to use, store and understand and I will recommend them for anybody who needs to test their drinking water or pools and hot tubs for peroxide levels.People that use these are likely aware that many home owners and e.g. hospitals now use hydrogen peroxide (H²O²) as an a non-toxic alternative to chlorine to keep pools clean. It is efficient and inexpensive and causes none of the chlorine-caused issues like red eyes and skin irritation, but of course it should still be monitored - both that there is sufficient to maintain the cleanliness of the pool and not too much to cause any kind of trouble.Now for the actual sticks. They are calibrated at 0,1,3,10, 30 and 100 mg/L (or ppm - parts per million) and give the results in seconds simply:1/ remove the test strip from vial (ensure the lid is closed fast as the sticks should not be exposed to sunlight and moisture) and do not touch the test pad with fingers when handling the stick2/ Dip the strip into solution (water) being tested for 1 second3/ remove and shake off excess liquids4/ compare test pad to colour chart on vial after 5 seconds. The chart is very clear and easy to read and so are the test results.And that's it!I have also tested my drinking water and thankfully it came up clean.There are 100 strips in the vial, so even if you test on a daily basis, they will last a while and at the current price of £38, I think it is pretty reasonably priced.

Very well made and most importantly, they are reliable and accurate. I can trust them and that's reason enough to recommend this particular brand of peroxide text stick.
