I bought both the lavender and the beige. I like both and use both at the same time. I use this tone up essence in place of a primer under foundation and it works really well.Why do I use both at the same time? I have a strange situation: My face is lighter than my neck, and my neck is darker than my decolletage. On top of that, my face and decolletage are neutral undertone but my neck has yellow undertone.The lavender works well on my neck, neutralizes the yellow, and the beige works well on my face, and this way, my face, neck, and decolletage are the same undertone and same in color. Sometimes, if my face looks tired or sallow, I use the lavender on it as well.This essence is very liquid-y, so I am really careful with the pump and only do quarter pumps at a time. But this quality means the product applies and spreads really well.I can put on 2 or 3 layers of this essence and there is no pilling. Also, it works well over my skincare and under every one of my cushion, cream, and liquid foundations.Also, even though I am pretty pale, other tone up products turned my skin white and ghostly, very unnatural looking. This product does not, it just melts into the skin but leaving behind brightened and evened skin and a natural glow.I have oily skin, this essence does a decent job keeping the oil at bay. I don't think the product is supposed to do this but it does. It also keeps foundation from oxidizing, which is great.Bonus, this essence has a physical sunscreen which is great for me because I can be allergic to some chemical sunscreens.I have been using Asian cosmetics and skincare for probably 8 years (I have friends and family in South Korea, Japan, and Taiwan). I have not used a product that has all the qualities of this tone up essence. Unless I find something similar and better, I will be repurchasing both shades of this product. Definitely can recommend!

I love this product, and it really works. It makes my skin look flawless and its very light weight. Perfect for day and night out. I totally recommend this product.

I can only use this in the winter. In my teens and 20s and part of my 30s I had very oily skin and this would not have worked. But all through my mid to late 30s 40s and 50s I've had normal and now a bit dryer skin. I would have loved this all along but I just discovered it. It feels greasy going on, but it dries. It's very fair so if you have medium or darker skin it won't work. I slather it on clean skin and then in a minute when it's dry I do my concealer and the cream bronzer and blush. It gives you a glowy dewy look which is hard to get in the winter. It has a light, not great scent at first but completely goes away in a minute. It lasts all day, it provides light coverage, (sheer?) But you can layer other foundation on top of and still enjoy the glowy dewy look. And it's affordable. I've grown to love tir tir products. I wish they made this in a darker shade. It works great as a primer! If you are light to fair and have slightly dry skin, you have to try this.

I tried the Tone Up Essence, but unfortunately, it’s not for me. The formula goes on fine, but it leaves a white cast on my face, which doesn’t blend well and makes my skin look a bit ashy. I had high hopes, but it didn’t work for my skin tone. It might work better for lighter skin tones, but for me, the white residue just didn’t look right. I’ll be looking for something else that suits my complexion better.

I love this stuff! I started using the red mask fit cushion foundation before the hype and fell in love with it! I use the mask fit tone of essence every day before I put on the foundation it has SPF 30 which is great. It is very light weight which also makes it thin and a little watery. it smells super good, makes the application of the foundations even more smooth and helps the make up stay longer. I also have not broken out or anything from the tone essence TirTir’s foundation! Definitely recommend it It’s a very decent size bottle a little goes a long way therefore it should elastic a while.

I really don’t like this. It is just not it. Unfortunately. I love most tirtir products if not all of them but I’ve only used this about 6 times to try to give it a chance but It doesn’t work for me. It’s like a creamy tinted spf. It does nothing for me personally. I will not purchase again but I definitely won’t stop buying tirtir products!

I stumbled across this when I bought the TIRTIR milk toner. I don't use makeup on the daily. This is now what I use as the last step of skin care in the morning. It gives my skin a filtered effect. It has no coverage but will smooth out redness and minimize pores. I use this as a primer if I want to wear foundation and def make the foundation last longer. Bought another one so I can have a back up.

This product exceeded my expectations! It goes on the skin beautifully and helps your foundation stay in place for hours. So easy to apply and makes the skin feel moisturized. It does have a bit of neutral color that evens out your skin tone. So glad I purchased this during the Black Friday sales
