Lemoy Equal Straight OD Tube Ball Valve Quick Connect Fitting 1/4-Inch by 1/4-Inch OD Valve Start RO Water System (Pack 10)

I used this as a local cut off point on a 1/4 inch water line used to feed automatic waterers on animal troughs. My major concerns were 1) would the tubing fit easily and 2) once the tubing was inserted would the fitting drip. On both accounts this was a breeze. In one of the connections I didn’t even bother to turn the water off and after a straight cut in the tubing, insertion of the tube into the valve fitting with valve open to let the water run through and within seconds I was closing the valve to stop the flow and inserting the other in to complete the connection. In each of the 5 connections made - no dripping and the tubing inserted easily. I did find more rigid tubing was easier all around as it made the connection easier. I had some more flexible 1/4 inch tubing and I had to work a little bit but all in all still relatively straightforward.

I used this for my outdoor irrigation lines to restrict the water going to some of my plants to keep them from being overwaters while the larger plants got more water. Installation was extremely easy as you just push in the 1/4 inch line as far as you can, insert the retention clip and move on.I have had these installed for a couple of days on lines pressured to 25 psi and haven't had a single leak. The valve is firm enough so it won't accidentally get moved it bumped but easy enough to move if you need to make some adjustments.As these are going to be outside in the blazing sun I'll follow up if they start to degrade due to UV as a lot of plastic parts have issues with UV.

Most other deprivation valves are open or close. This one allows you to find tune as you want.

These straight valves are easy to use, they do not leak, just make sure they are pushed together all the way and you will not have any problems.

These work really well and the price is fantastic.

I use to use barbed connectors until I tried a few of these push on connectors. Also! The barbed connectors are breaking under minor movement of the 1/4" lines. Especially the 'T' barbed connectors.Another thing about the barbed is that I can not undue them like I can undue the push-ons.I do not rate 5 stars but this idea of reclaiming and durability has my vote!Good Job & a great Idea!

You stick one tube in one end, stick the other tube in the other end, stick in one of the tiny plastic spacers on each of the two sides, you're done, super simple. Most important, doesn't leak, and it works.

I had a different one before that was light blue and the toggle switch was always too tight and broke after a month.this one is really good and is a lot more durable than the unit it replaced. turning it on and off does not have much resistance

I used them on my 1/4” tubing to control the on/off water flow on my garden rows, they work great, no leaks. They look sturdy and I hope they will last.

I am happy with my purchase. I had another one of these and I don't understand why but the old one doesn't work anymore. It's just plastic so I don't get it but nonetheless it wore out I guess so I purchased this package of 10. The other one I had lasted about 2 years with constant use. This one is not built as robust as the previous one I had but looks can be deceiving so let's see. In any case I have 9 more in the kit so it should last me until I die.
