Okay, I've written a lot about the recently discontinued Max Pro 4125 Electronics Lubricant. ThisGardner Bender GCD-005 Electrical Lubricant seems to be the same (or similar) formula. It is a an electronics cleaner with "residue" (light lubricant) that cleans and leaves a very light film that basically evaporates after a while thus leaving just enough of a coating to not let oxidation start. It also frees up sticky pots, switches and faders. I use it daily in my Guitar Repair business where I use it for many other things, like freeing up rusty saddle screws on electric guitars, as it's lighter and creeps better than WD-40. In many instances, I will use GDC-005 to free up a tight vol/tone pot, but once free, I will use CRC Electric Motor Cleaner to wash out the lube. The one thing you should understand is the Residue (lube) attracts dirt, which is why in some conditions, I'll wash out the GDC-005. If the guitar is to be played in high humidity, I will leave the residue in. This is also the reason I do not use Deox-It anymore. It's too tacky and too expensive and it doesn't deoxidize any better than GCD-005.

Item works well. Did what I needed it to do.

I had a hard time finding this product in a spray can. This works great and has been super useful for protecting lead acid battery terminals.
