Sturdy No-Frills Keyboard Drawer
I was looking for desktop keyboard drawer that was just big enough to hold my full-sized keyboard. I seriously considered the 3M Adjustable Desktop Keyboard Drawer but it was just too big to fit on my desktop. This one fit the bill perfectly, and for about $125 less. The unit consists of a sturdy metal frame holding a plastic keyboard tray. The drawer rolls smoothly on ball bearing slides. Metal frame hold my monitor with no bending or flexing of it of any kind. The tray is only wide enough for keyboard and is not designed to hold a mouse. There’s only one thing negative I have to say about this keyboard tray. When you slide the tray all the way out little metal prongs pop out lock the tray in the fully extended position. You have to push them in simultaneously to unlock the drawer to slide it back in. Some people may like this feature, but I personally find it to be a bit of a pain in the butt. The Bottom LineIf you are looking for sturdy desktop keyboard drawer this one deserves your serious consideration. 3M Adjustable Desktop Keyboard Drawer

Good size
This serves my needs perfectly. I needed a small riser but I really wanted a keyboard tray to push away when not in use. So far it has worked well for me. The material reminds me of the same metal as a CPU Tower. The material is sturdy and holds up very well. The one thing I didnt consider or realize till after having this is that my keyboard is below the nook for the pencils. So I had to put something under the keyboard to give it some height. Also I didnt find the nook for the pencils helpful since thats where your wrist is going to sit. The design of that is pretty dumb. It would have made more sense for the pencil holder to be off to the side. There is enough room in the tray for me to put a small plastic container and I hold some of my essentials that I use for work, chapstick, pen, lip gloss, just stuff that will always be there at my finger tips. My monitor is about 17-19 inches maybe, the base is very heavy, its a business model HD Dell monitor and the riser case is very secure.

Product needs inspection before sale
I have bought a total of 4 of these drawers. They are strong to hold a vintage desktop computer and house the keyboard with in the drawer. A full size keyboard (108 keys) will fit with the leading cable out the back. However, a mouse will not fit unless the keyboard is smaller. One problem has existed on all four, namely the drawer rail on the left side of the cabinet looking from the front has a screw that slides out of the rail and has to be refitted. The manufacturer is at fault here as opposed to the seller. The manufacturer needs to inspect the product being sold for imperfections. Otherwise the product is good if the manufacturer would inspect and correct these imperfections then the product would be great,

Works well for vintage IBM PCs (5150/5160/5170)
I was looking for an old fashioned keyboard try for my vintage 5160 (IBM PC XT) just like in the old days and this one fit the bill for a reasonable price. The riser itself is painted steel, while the tray feels like (slightly flimsy) ABS plastic. If this were a daily use item I’d be a little worried about longevity, but as a vintage computer display stand it’s great, very similar to the ones I remember from the 80’s. Especially for the price this is a good deal.

Great while it lasted...
This was great while it lasted, but the drawer slides busted EASILY and spread greasy ball-bearings all over my office floor.FWIW, it holds my monitor at a very good height and stores the keyboard out-of-the-way.I'm not real happy with the above-the-desk design, though as the keyboard is actually a bit high.Next time I'll look for a drawer with space for a mouse pad.
