No fear of falling out of bed.
My husband had a fear of falling out of bed since he has mobility issues. I purchased this bed rail in conjunction with a step to help him feel more secure getting in and out of bed as well as when he's sleeping. This rail was easy to assemble. It's made of good quality material. The little pouch is convenient for keeping small items near. This securely slides between the mattress and box springs. I did not anchor it as I don't feel it needs to be. My husband it grateful for it and now sleeps more soundly. The rail is sturdy enough to help him pull himself up when getting out of bed, or hold onto when getting into bed.

It’s okay.
The product seems to have good material that it’s made out of but on my king size bed it did not feel stable at all. I did not feel safe after my back surgery. I felt it wiggled around way too much.Assembly took about 15-20 min. I could also tell it has been used since it had scratch marks all over it unless it’s faulty.UPDATE: I have been using this for 8 days and I’m post surgery. Even though it isn’t as sturdy as I like it has helped me through these days to get out of bed. I had a spine surgery and this product has made getting out of bed better.

Easy to install, good protection
My wife suffered through three horrible surgeries this year. When we got her home, I wanted to make certain she didn't accidentally fall out of bed. This works great at keeping her in, and also gives her something to hold onto when getting in and out of bed. its the right size, both height-wise and length-wise. Glad I bought it.

Served the purpose
It was tricky to assemble as some of the pieces fit very tightly together but once assembled worked well. Sturdy and reliable for helping a senior sit up on the side of the bed. He felt safe when shifting his weight.

Nice rails but difficult to put together
It is a very nice product. I wish for a few changes on how it flips down. It is difficult for elderly to bring down when they really need to get out of bed. Also, it took several viewing of videos (grateful for them) to figure what was doing wrong in assembly

It works on an adjustable bed
I had fallen out of bed and hit my face on my table giving me a hairline fracture on my nose. I ordered this as this is at least the 5th time I've fallen out of bed. The other times I did not get hurt. 3 of my grandkids put it together, the mattress is very heavy so 2 lifted it while the 3rd hooked the strap around the frame. My granddaughter tried it out and she couldn't make it so she would fall out. The only con is that it will fold down but you have to take the 2 clips out to fold it. When you put it back up you will need to put the clips back in to secure it. Hopefully this solves my problem. I fell out of bed because I was dreaming I was trying to run up a hill to get to safety, maybe I should quit watching westerns before bed, maybe switch to the hallmark channel.Pic 1 is it in the up positionPic 2 in the down positionPic 3 the 2 clips you have to removePic 4 where the clips have to be placedPic 5 the bed adjusted up for watching TVIf you need it closer to the head of the bed, it may not work, but I put it in the middle where I am more likely to fall out.
